1980 Calendar gives glimpses of the Tri-Cities in their heyday

The Webb City Area Genealogical Society has been fortunate to be able to scan a calendar from 1980 that was published by the Tri-City Historical Society of Alba, Neck City and Purcell.

The calendar showed historic views along with current day images that are now considered historic. Each month listed the names of community members’ birthdays, showing what a close knit community the Tri-City area is.

Webb City Area Genealogical Society

WCAGS members staff the Genealogy Room on the third floor of the Webb City Public Library. Current hours are noon to 4 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month in the Genealogy Room.
