Eight former individual athletes and three teams will be inducted into the Webb City R-7 Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Oct. 19.
The Webb City R-7 Schools, in cooperation with the Webb City R-7 Schools Foundation, announced the selections on Monday.

The induction dinner and ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Cardinal Dome commons on the campus of Webb City High School. Tickets ($35) are can be purchased at the Central Office, 411 N. Madison St. For more information, call (417) 673-6000.
Inductees are chosen by a selection committee composed of current and retired district and high school administrators and coaches. The Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 2016 to commemorate a legacy of exceptional athletic performances and accomplishments, and to pay tribute to those individuals and teams who have shaped the Webb City R-7 School District’s athletic history.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
