13:21 – I was contacted via phone of a past-tense forgery. The incident occurred at 501 S. Madison St.
Thursday, Nov. 4
17:02 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a motor vehicle crash.
09:59 – Officers were dispatched to 1806 N. East St. for a trespass in progress. A 35-year-old male was arrested for trespassing.
18:44 – An officer was dispatched to South Madison Street at West Seventh Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
Friday, Nov. 5
Officers were dispatched to 1813 S. Hall St. for two aggressive dogs at large. The animal owners were contacted and they advised officers that they would not assist with the dogs and that they had abandoned them.
16:57 – I was dispatched to 502 S. Hall St. for a past-tense theft.
16:25 – I was contacted via phone of a past-tense harassment. The incident occurred at 1010 Meadow View.
Saturday, Nov. 6
17:48 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense harassment at 617 N. Oak St.
23:43 – Officers were dispatched to McDonald’s in reference to a possible disturbance in the drive thru. Upon arrival, an officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle as it was leaving on Oakland Street. Charges will be sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office on three juveniles for possession of marijuana and minor in possession of alcohol.
23:22 – I observed a vehicle commit several traffic violations at Daugherty and Madison streets and initiated a traffic stop. The 21-year-old male driver was arrested for DWI.
Sunday, Nov. 7
13:42 – I was in the area of Madison and 13th streets when I heard a traffic crash. I located the vehicles involved and processed the scene for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
21:13 – An officer was dispatched to Madison Street and Broadway for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash.
01:36 – I was westbound on Daugherty Street at Walker Street when I observed a male walking westbound on the sidewalk. The 31-year-old was arrested for failing to identify himself and was heldf or a 12-hour safekeep.
16:55 – I was dispatched to 1215 W. Broadway for a past-tense theft.
16:44 – I was dispatched to 23 S. Hall St. for a past-tense theft from a storage unit.
17:39 – I was dispatched to 602 N. Hall St. for a past-tense harassment.
00:49 – I was northbound on Main Street from Daugherty Street when I observed a gold in color vehicle in front of me commit a traffic violation. The 25-year-old male was arrested for DWI and driving while suspended.
Monday, Nov. 8
03:42 – A report was taken for a theft from a motor vehicle at 1101 N. Main St.
19:53 – I was dispatched to a parking lot at 100 S. Main St. in reference to a past-tense property damage.
14:26 – I observed a green in color passenger vehicle commit a traffic violation and a stop was made. A 25-year-old female was arrested on a Carterville warrant.
14:35 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Crow for a speeding violation. The 37-year-old female driver was cited and arrested for failure to register, failure to show valid proof of insurance, and driving while revoked.
Tuesday, Nov. 9
13:56 – I received a call for service at 13th and Madison streets in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
15:08 – I received a call for service at The Rental Store, 1709 W. MacArthur Drive, in reference to a stolen trailer.
17:48 – An officer was dispatched to 411 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a found bicycle.
17:25 – Officers were dispatched to 4521 E. Zora St. Apt B in reference to an assault in progress.
16:10 – I witnessed possible narcotics activity in the 300 block of N. Main St. I was able to identify the subjects involved. No charges are pending at this time.
12:20 – An officer conducted a traffic stop for speeding at Oronogo and 12th streets. A 30-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for exceeding the posted speed limit, failure to show valid proof of insurance, operating a motor vehicle with an expired drivers license, and a warrant out of Joplin.
Wednesday, Nov. 10
09:39 – I was dispatched to 4506 Dirt Road in reference to a report of a theft from an unlocked motor vehicle.
12:09 – I was dispatched to 1899 S. Madison St. in reference to a past-tense fraud. A white male counterfeited a bogus check and passed it as a genuine negotiable device. The male was identified and will be charged with fraud. A report was taken.
14:44 – I received information in reference to past-tense threats made at 807 W. First St. The caller stated a subject she was familiar with verbally threatened her.
15:52 – I was dispatched to the Webb City Municipal Court to pick up a man with five active Joplin City warrants. He was placed into handcuffs transported to the Webb City jail to post a bond.
21:33 – Officers were dispatched to 817 Horseshoe Drive for a domestic disturbance. Charges for domestic assault will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 36-year-old male.
16:11 – An officer was dispatched to 315 S. Webb St. in reference to a theft.
07:03 – I was dispatched to 4516 Pool Rd for a past-tense theft.
16:08 – I was dispatched to Fountain Road and the Frisco Greenway Trail in reference to an abandoned stolen vehicle. I located and secured the vehicle until investigators with the Joplin Police Department could arrive to process the vehicle.
Thursday, Nov. 11
09:42 – I was dispatched to 25 South Hall St. in reference to a report of storage unit being broken into and items removed.
Friday, Nov. 12
00:48 – Officers responded to 506 N. Ball St. for an assault. One subject was taken into custody.
20:16 – A crash report was started at Fourth and Main streets involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.
Saturday, Nov. 13
10:53 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a theft at 204 S. Par Ave.
03:11 – An officer was dispatched to Casey’s, 2604 N. Range Line, to assist a Joplin police officer with a man refusing to leave the store. A 34-year-old male was arrested by Joplin PD.
06:01 – I conducted a pedestrian check at First and Tom streets. The subject had a Carterville City warrant and was arrested. The subject was transported to the Webb City and held in lieu of bond.
14:34 – I received a call for service at 4575 E. Zora St. in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.
21:49 – I was dispatched to 819 W. Daugherty St. No. 2 in reference a medical with law call.
