17:17 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and Cardinal Drive in reference to a motor vehicle crash. A 36-year-old male was arrested on warrants and issued citations for driving while revoked and failure to yield.
Friday, Dec. 24
09:46 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. A 40-year-old male was arrested.
Saturday, Dec. 25
11:00 – I was dispatched to 319 S. Roane St. in reference to theft from a motor vehicle.
Sunday, Dec. 26
13:18 – I was dispatched to 4521 E Zora St. Apt. B for a disturbance in progress. The reporting party stated a female had a piece of glass and was fighting with another female. A 33-year-old female was arrested for warrants.
Thursday, Dec. 30
15:52 – Officers were westbound on 15th Street at Madison Street when we observed a silver in color SUV make a right-hand turn into a parking lot with no turn signal. A 47-year-old male was issued citations for driving while suspended and no insurance.
Saturday, Jan. 1
15:17 – I responded to a trespass in progress at Walmart.
Sunday, Jan. 2
01:41 – Officers were dispatched to 715 W. Second St. in reference to a theft. Stealing charges against a a 51-year-old female will be sent to the municipal prosecutor.
07:00 – An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Hall St. where a report was taken about a stolen vehicle and runaway juvenile.
19:08 – An officer was dispatched to McDonald’s in reference to a disturbance in progress. A 28-year-old male was taken into custody on a 12-hour safe keep and peace disturbance.
21:27 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense trespassing. Charges for trespassing will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 29-year-old male.
13:54 – I responded to a non-injury, two-vehicle accident at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street.
12:00 – I responded to Walmart for a past-tense theft.
17:04 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a non-injury traffic crash.
Monday, Jan. 3
08:18 – I was dispatched to 218 S. Ball St. in reference to stealing of utilities. Burglary charges are being sent to the prosecutor’s office.
07:28 – Officers responded to King Jack Park where damage to the splash pad restrooms was reported.
16:53 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and 13th streets for a registration violation. The 24-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for failure to register a motor vehicle, failure to show valid proof of insurance, no valid driver’s license, displaying license plates of another, possession of marijuana, and driving while intoxicated.
18:47 – I was dispatched to a past-tense theft at Walmart.
19:42 – I was dispatched to the 1700 block of Redwood Drive in reference to a runaway.
16:03 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense shoplifting on Dec. 20.
19:51 – An officer was dispatched to contact a subject in reference to a theft that had occurred at 501 S. Oakland St.
Tuesday, Jan. 4
19:00 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense theft that occurred at 2587 N. Range Line. A report was taken and an investigation was started.
18:48 – Officers were dispatched to Zora and Hall streets in reference to a two-vehicle, non injury, motor vehicle crash. A 30-year-old male was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way. And a 47-year-old male was issued a citation for failure to show valid proof of insurance.
06:06 – I was dispatched to Daugherty and Webb streets for property damage.
I was dispatched to Mt. Hope Cemetery for a suspicious person. A 30-year-old male was arrested for warrants.
Wednesday, Jan. 5
01:23 – I made a traffic stop near Seventh and Jefferson streets in reference to traffic and license violations. One adult male was charged with driving while revoked.
19:30 – Officers responded to 316 Forest St. for a report of a missing elderly female, who was located safely.
18:25 – An individual came to WCPD requesting a well-check in the 4500 block of E. Zora St. As a result, a 28-year-old female was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the hospital on a 96-hour commit.
17:05 – I responded to the area of Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a found item.
13:40 – I responded to WCPD for a warrant arrest.
Thursday, Jan. 6
10:11 – I was dispatched to 1401 W. Austin St. for property damage.
17:54 – A report was created for a stolen 2015 Chevrolet Silverado from 1786 Line Drive.
Friday, Jan. 7
20:40 – Officers were dispatched to 660 E. Daugherty St. for an assault in progress. One adult male was taken into custody for trespassing, resisting arrest and failure to identify himself.
Saturday, Jan. 8
15:26 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to license plates stolen from 409 N. Webb St.
22:15 – An officer was dispatched to the 10 block of S. Liberty St., in reference to a runaway.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
