Friday, Jan. 21
00:06 Officers observed a vehicle fail to yield for a stop sign at Broadway and Ash streets. One male was cited for driving while revoked.
Sunday, Jan. 23
18:30 – I was northbound on Main Street, passing Vine Street, when I observed a vehicle committing several traffic violations. A 64-year-old male was arrested for DWI and driving while revoked.
Saturday, Jan. 29
14:58 – Officers were dispatched to 4460 Country Blvd. in reference to a check well-being. Information was gathered and a report was created.
21:52 – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Dodge Journey at MacArthur and Centennial drives. Officers conducted a probable-cause search of the vehicle and located marijuana and an open container of alcohol.
Sunday, Jan. 30
10:45 – A report was created for the theft of a catalytic converter in a parking lot in the 100 block of S. Main St.
21:02 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft.
16:37 – Officers were dispatched to Atwoods in reference to past-tense theft of property. One adult male was taken into custody.
Monday, Jan. 31
08:48 – I was dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a shoplifting in progress. I located the fleeing suspect who was then taken into custody.
17:45 – I was dispatched to King Jack Park, where a young girl on a walk with her grandmother had gotten separated and lost. She was found and reunited with her grateful grandmother.
22:48 – I was dispatched to 816 W. 11th St. for a domestic in progress.
18:35 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Enterprise and Progress avenues for a speeding violation. The 39-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for exceeding the posted speed limit, possession of drug paraphernalia, and Webb City warrants.
08:49 – Officers responded to 400 N. Roane St. for a past-tense burglary.
Officers responded to an open door at 705 W First St.
20:50 – I responded to the roundabout for a non-injury motor vehicle accident.
16:01 – I was dispatched to Madison and Fourth streets in reference to a motor vehicle crash.
Tuesday, Feb. 1
07:40 – I took a report of a bus window being punched out by a male subject on the south parking lot of Webb City High School. I made contact with the suspect who was parked in the same parking lot awaiting a police officer’s arrival. The suspect was arrested for assault and property damage.
Officers were dispatched to Webb and Second streets for a motor vehicle crash.
12:04 – I was dispatched to the Liberty Electric substation at 105 E. Tracy St., in reference to property damage.
17:11 – Officers responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash at Walmart.
Officers responded to 1605-284 S. Ellis St. for a theft from motor vehicle report.
Wednesday, Feb. 2
I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to past-tense harassment that had occured at 1122 Countryside Drive. The caller stated a harassing note had been placed in her mailbox.
08:41 – I was dispatched to 210 Par Avenue in reference to a domestic assault in progress. Upon arrival the caller stated her adult brother had assaulted her.
Friday, Feb. 4
16:25 – I was southbound on Main Street from Second Street when I observed an SUV make mutiple traffic violations. A 32-year-old female was issued citations for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers responded for a report of vandalism at 1 S. Main St that had occurred on Jan. 28 at 22:40 hours.
20:07 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference a past-tense theft.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
