10:31 – An officer responded to the area of Broadway and Webb Street for a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
Tuesday, March 29
18:37 – An officer was dispatched to Madison and 14th streets in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.
Friday, April 1
16:05 – Officers were dispatched to 511 E. Daugherty St. for a report that the residents were stealing water and had illegally tapped into the city’s water main. Charges forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutor.
22:46 – An officer was dispatched to Skateland in reference to an assault that had occurred there. A report was forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.
Saturday, April 2
19:09 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a walk-in report of harassment that occurred at 128 S. Madison St.
10:24 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and Cardinal Raod for a two-vehicle, non injury crash.
13:48 – Officers responded to 801 S. Hall St. for a report of a found bicycle. The bike was brought back to the police station until the owner can be located.
17:50 – Officers were flagged down near 210 N. Oronogo St. for a reported abandoned bicycle in the alley. The bike was recovered and taken to the police station.
13:08 – Officers responded to the 800 block of E. Hawthorne Loop for a report of property damage. A report was forwarded to the county juvenile office.
Sunday, April 3
12:13 – I was dispatched to 1605 S. Ellis St. Apt. 279 in reference to a domestic assault. A 31-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault in the third degree, and charges were sent to the county prosecutor’s office.
12:00 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to an incident involving property damage at 809 Golf Road. The victim reported the resident had stretched a rope across the street in an effort to pull down a tree limb. The victim drove through the area not seeing or realizing the rope was connected to a vehicle partially blocking the roadway. As they passed by, the rope damaged the roof rack and kayak holder on top of the car.
16:02 – I was dispatched to 101 S. Hall St. in reference to a stolen license plate.
20:13 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense trespass on April 2. At 21:25 hours, officers were dispatched back to Walmart for the same individual who was again inside Walmart. As a result the 29-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting.
14:10 – Officers were notified of a walk-in report at the police station reference a theft that had occurred at Skateland.
15:40 – Officers were dispatched to Atwoods for two juveniles that had stolen a bottle of water. The juveniles were located and turned over to parents per the juvenile office.
Monday, April 4
14:13 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle non-injury motor vehicle accident.
08:15 – I arrived at Mt. Hope Cemetery reference a report of property damage. Damage had occurred to a vault in the cemetery when someone had set a fire next to it in what appeared to be an attempt to stay warm and use the vault wall as a wind block.
Tuesday, April 5
12:30 – I was dispatched to Atwoods in reference to shoplifting. A 49-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting.
18:13 – Officers were dispatched to King Jack Park near the area of 10th and Pennsylvania streets in reference to a medical call and personnel were requesting police presence. I arrested one 26-year-old male for domestic assault.
21:49 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense shoplifting. Charges for burglary 1st will be sent over to the county prosecutor’s office on a 44-year-old female and a 29-year-old female.
13:22 – I was dispatched to 807 W. First St. for a past-tense assault.
20:41 – An officer was dispatched to Atwoods for a past-tense theft.
Wednesday, April 6
09:50 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to identity theft and fraud at 817 Horseshoe Drive.
07:17 – I was dispatched to Prairie Flower Road and Fifth Street for a motor-vehicle crash.
14:20 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a theft of property at 615 b N. East Street. The victim reported while doing laundry at that business someone stole a dress and hoodie from her.
13:35 – Officers were dispatched to 915 W. First St. for a disturbance. A 46-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault. A 44-year-old woman was arrested on active Webb City and Carterville warrants.
Thursday, April 7
13:34 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to assault and property damage at 4557 E. Zora St.
16:15 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of S. Madison St. for a death investigation. A 37-year-old Joplin man was found deceased in the home.
22:20 – I made a traffic stop near Hall and Zora streets in reference to license and equipment violations. The driver failed to yield for a short distance then fled on foot from the scene. He was positively identified and charged with felony resisting and driving while revoked.
Friday, April 8
18:39 – An officer was dispatched to take a report on a missing person at 517 N. Liberty St. At 1951 hours the individual was located.
23:20 – Officers were dispatched to 124 S. Hall St. for a past-tense domestic assault.
Saturday, April 9
10:47 – I was dispatched to the 1400 block of Crestwood Drive for a runaway/missing juvenile.
14:28 – I was dispatched to 413 N. Liberty St. for a dog-bite incident.
