10:58 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to the report of a suspicious person at 1607 S. Ellis, near apartment 295. The caller reported a suspicious man may have followed her up the stairway.

17:40 – An officer was dispatched to 1537 Anderson Dr. for a possible exparte violation.
Monday, May 9
15:07 – I was dispatched to McDonald’s for a traffic crash involving a bicyclist.
Monday, May 16
09:25 – An officer was dispatched to 519 S. Main St. for a non-injury motor vehicle accident.
Wednesday, May 18
Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a walk-in report of peace disturbance that had occurred at 605 W. Daugherty St. on May 6.
Thursday, May 19
21:54 – An officer was dispatched to 1113 Woodland Drive, in reference to a past-tense burglary.
Friday, May 20
22:04 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Hall Street. One female was arrested for driving while suspended.
Saturday, May 21
On 05-21-2022 at 2221 hours officers were dispatched to the area of 1212 S Madison for a Theft in Progress. As a result a report was taken.
Sunday, May 22
13:42 – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Madison St. reference an animal complaint.
19:18 – A report was created for a violation of a protection order at 404 E. Fourth St.
17:32 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Ball Street for a speeding violation. During the stop the driver took off and a pursuit started which ended with the driver crashing into a tree at 1802 S. Oronogo St. The 31-year-old female driver was citied and arrested for numerous violations to include, resisting arrest, possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, and driving while intoxicated.
04:09 – Officers were dispatched to 16th and Jefferson streets for a stolen phone.
Monday, May 23
08:00 – I was dispatched to 1723 Redwood Drive, Apt. 91 for a stolen vehicle report.
18:00 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Stadium and Colonial drives. One male was arrested for driving while revoked.
16:30 – Officers were dispatched to 420 W. Broadway, where a box truck was damaged, possibly on May 21.
Tuesday, May 24
08:00 – I arrived in the 800 block of W. First St. reference a past-tense assault and property damage. One male juvenile was charged with assault and property damage.
12:21 – I was dispatched to 1123 Nelson St. in reference to a stolen debit card.
09:40 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash with no injuries.
Wednesday, May 25
20:19 – Officers responded to 1802 S. Oronogo St. in reference to suspicious activity. Three subjects were contacted and taken into custody for vehicle tampering and possession of a controlled substance.
12:59 – Officers were dispatched to NAPA Auto Parts, 1899 S. Madison St., in reference to a past-tense theft.
16:17 – Officers were dispatched to Webb City Junior High School in reference to a juvenile assault by another juvenile.
Thursday, May 26
15:30 – Officers were dispatched to 1604 S. Ellis St. in reference to a stolen motorcycle.
12:09 – Officers were dispatched to Casey’s, 337 S Main St., in reference to a suspicious person.
20:00 – Officers responded to 1605 S. Ellis St. in response to harassment.
13:52 – An officer was dispatched to the area of Stadium Drive and Madison Street for a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
Friday, May 27
21:12 – I was dispatched to 223 S. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a theft of tools from a motor vehicle.
19:33 – I was dispatched to 1227 S. Jefferson St. in reference a past-tense assault. One adult male was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
03:30 – Officers were dispatched to Webb and First streets for a possible burglary in progress. Charges will be sent to the Jasper County Juvenal Office.
15:57 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and Fountain Road for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.
Saturday, May 28
15:32 – Officers were dispatched to 515 S. Elliott St. for an assault. A 62-year-old resident, of 513 S. Elliott St., was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and assault.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
