14:12 – Officers were dispatched to 111 N. Cedar St. for a report of stolen water and damage to a water meter.
Friday, Sept. 9
08:23 – I was dispatched to 200 E. Daugherty St. for a past-tense theft.
Sunday, Sept. 11
15:07 – An officer was dispatched to1611 Jefferson Circle for a motor vehicle accident.
11:19 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Mineral and Madison streets. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.
Tuesday, Sept. 13
11:25 – I received a phone call from the victim of a theft. He reported someone had taken a package delivery from in front of his apartment at 1603 S. Ellis.
Thursday, Sept. 15
09:28 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
13:45 – An officer was dispatched to 806 W. 10th St. for property damage.
Sunday, Sept. 18
16:50 – Officers were dispatched to WalMart for a theft in progress. One male and one female fled the scene. One male was later taken into custody.
22:40 – I was dispatched to the 900 block of Megan Lane to recover a stolen vehicle out of Joplin.
23:01 – I was notified of a past-tense theft that occurred at Walmart. One adult female was identified and charged with stealing.
01:32 – An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Hall St. in reference to a juvenile offenses call.
14:14 – Officers were dispatched to Eighth and Oakland streets for a non-injury accident.
Monday, Sept. 19
10:02 hours – I was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Madison St. in reference to a juvenile offense. School district IT reported an image they had been alerted to.
10:50 – Officers were dispatched to Fourth Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
19:50 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD for a walk-in report in reference to drug activity.
23:44 – A traffic stop was conducted at Hall Street and Fountain Road. A 37-year-old male was taken into custody for no driver’s license.
10:18 – I was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Madison Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle accident.
Tuesday, Sept. 20
07:13 – Officers observed a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident at Main Street and Stadium Drive, where one driver left the scene. Multiple citations were issued.
11:22 – I was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Madison St. in reference to a minor in possession of alcohol. Upon arrival I was advised the subject had been in possession of intoxicants on the property.
11:55 – Officers were dispatched to Main Street and MacArthur Drive, reference a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
15:05 – Officers were dispatched to 1717 W. 12th St., reference property damage.
18:30 – A report was created for a runaway juvenile last seen at Centennial Drive and Tracy Street.
17:18 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a trespass in progress. A 23-year-old male was arrested for trespassing and shoplifting. Also a 44-year-old female was arrested for a felony warrant.
22:49 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting. A 22-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting.
Wednesday, Sept. 21
19:54 – Officers responded to 807 S. Walker St. in reference to a dog bite.
17:24 – I received a call for service at 325 S. Ball St. in reference to a past-tense burglary.
21:06 – An officer was dispatched to 1612 S. Madison St. in reference to a check well being. A 38-year-old female was taken into custody for active warrants out of Jasper County.
07:39 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout for a non-injury motor vehicle crash.
Thursday, Sept. 22
20:58 – I was dispatched to 1309 S. Madison St. in reference a past-tense theft.
Friday, Sept. 23
08:57 – Officers attempted a traffic stop in the area of Aylor and Liberty streets. The male driver failed to yield. A pursuit was initiated. A male subject was taken into custody for multiple warrants, and traffic violations.
20:22 – Officers were dispatched to Country Care Heating and Air, 201 S. Main St., reference a past-tense theft.
19:04 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. A 55-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting.
20:27 – A report was created for a two-vehicle crash at the roundabout. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
19:26 – Officers were dispatched to 918 S. Jefferson St. for a disturbance in progress. A 24-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
22:06 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a theft in progress.
23:17 – An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison St. for a runaway juvenile.
Saturday, Sept. 24
00:23 – Officers were dispatched to 1101 W. First St. for an assault in progress. A 43-year-old male will be receiving numerous citations.
09:13 – I was contacted at the police department for a past-tense theft from Webb City High School, 621 N. Madison St.
20:30 – Officers were dispatched to 710 N. Elliott St. for a physical domestic assault. A 35-year-old male will be receiving a citation for the incident.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
