Webster second graders meet the author and receive a free copy of ‘Game Maker’

Brian Hanni, the “Voice of the Jayhawks,” came to Webster Primary Center Friday to read his new children’s book, “Game Maker,” about how the game of basketball began.

He also answered questions about basketball and his decision to write a children’s book.

Carrie Thieman, a Webster teacher, and Drew Hartley, the business development manager for Freeman Health System, organized Hanni’s appearance. And thanks to local donors, each second grader received a free copy of “Game Maker.”
