16:58 – I was dispatched to Cardinal Mini Storage (1038 N Madison) in reference to theft from a unit.
Saturday, April 1
20:15 – I was dispatched to 740 Jillian Lane for found property.
17:04 – I was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Oakland St. for a disturbance. The father reported his 17-year-old daughter was causing a disturbance in the home.
22:44 – I made a traffic stop near Austin and Jefferson streets in reference to a traffic violation. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while revoked.
Sunday, April 2
02:27 – I made a traffic stop near Zora and Wellington in reference a license plate violation. two adult males were taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
10:00 – Officers were dispatched to 804 S. Hall St. in reference to a disturbance. The male involved was located nearby and arrested for an active warrant.
10:47 – I arrived at Sleep Inn and Suites, 221 S. East St. for a theft. The victim reported the theft of a basketball bag, New Balance shoes, and other athletic clothing from her car.
22:07 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD for a past-tense assault that occurred in King Jack Park, 555 S. Main St.
Monday, April 3
11:15 – Officers were called to the 1100 block of Hillside Drive for a female exposing herself and urinating on the side of the road. One female was arrested for sexual misconduct.
12:37 – Officers were dispatched to the area of Madison and 13th streets for a possible intoxicated subject. A 61-year-old male was arrested for DWI, resisting, open container and no drivers license.
13:22 – I was dispatched to 904 E. Megan Lane for a disturbance in progress. A 60-year-old male was arrested for DWI.
17:49 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Seventh streets. One male was arrested for no valid driver’s license.
Tuesday, April 4
05:01 – Officers were dispatched to Colonial Drive and Broadway reference a suspicious person. A 38-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants.
09:00 – I responded to WCPD in reference to a found item located at 9 S. Webb St. I retrieved a piece of jewelry in the parking lot.
16:01 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense vehicle theft and fraud at 1604 S. Ellis St.
19:48 – An officer was dispatched to 301 N. College St. for found property.
Wednesday, April 5
10:00 – Officers were dispatched for a fraud report at 1605 S. Ellis St.
11:00 – I was contacted at WCPD by the Children’s Division concerning a Hotline Call they received about a case of possible child abuse that occurred in the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St.
12:00 – Officers were dispatched to 916 S. Jefferson St. in reference to a domestic assault. A female was taken into custody for an active Joplin City warrant.
12:17 – I arrived at 1613 Gold Stream in reference to a theft. The victim reported his 2005 Pace Cargo trailer was stolen from a field behind his home.
Thursday, April 6
08:36 – I received a call for service at Grace Precision, 1400 S. Hall St., in reference to theft.
10:00 – Officers were dispatched to 1607 Gold Stream Dr. reference a burglary.
11:30 – Officers were dispatched to 16th and Madison streets reference a motor vehicle crash.
13:10 – Officers were dispatched to 111 S. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a theft from building.
16:41 – I received a call for service at First and Main streets in reference to a protection order violation.
17:30 – Officers were dispatched to King Jack Park reference a possible domestic. One male was taken into custody for active warrants.
21:08 – I was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Madison St. for a runaway.
Friday, April 7
01:05 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Oronogo Street and MacArthur Drive. Three juveniles were turned over to parents and a report was sent to the juvenile office.
23:37 – Officers responded to 727 N. Oak St. in reference to property damage.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
