Friday, May 5
I received a phone call alleging a juvenile female had been sexually assaulted near the praying hands in King Jack park.
13:23 – Officers were dispatched to an unknown injury crash at North Pennsylvania Street and Stadium Drive. One vehicle was towed.
19:18 – Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of S. Tom St., reference a check well being. As a result, a DFS hotline report was completed.
14:33 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD to take a report of fraud that occurred at 1228 W. Seventh St.
Saturday, May 6
22:57 – Officers initiated a traffic stop on a red in color Mazda Miata. It was found that the Oklahoma license plate being displayed had been entered as a stolen, and a 54-year-old male was arrested for possession of stolen property.
Sunday, May 7
00:59 – Officers were on general patrol in the area of Zora Street and Range Line Road when a truck was observed bearing a possible stolen Oklahoma license plate. A traffic stop was conducted and the license plate was seized.
01:48 – Officers were dispatched to 624 N. Walker St. reference a theft.
05:06 – Officers were notified of a vehicle stolen from 2320 S. Hall St. At about 1600 hours, the vehicle owner recontacted officers to make the complete report. The vehicle has been entered as stolen.
08:53 – I was dispatched to the 1000 block of South Alpine Court for a runaway juvenile.
13:22 – Officers were dispatched to 740 Jillian Lane for a report of harassment. One male was issued a summons to court.
17:21 – I was dispatched to Fifth and Ball streets for a disturbance that turned out to be an assault.
Tuesday, May 8
08:29 – I received a call for service at Main and Third streets in reference to a motor vehicle accident that occurred at MacArthur Drive and Main Street.
Wednesday, May 9
06:37 – I received call for service at 1038 N. Madison St. in reference to trespassing and tampering with motor vehicles.
12:11 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a theft that originally occurred at 1802 S. Oronogo St. #11B. A summons was issued to the suspect.
14:29 – Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Gold Stream Drive in reference to a suicidal subject with a gun. The alleged suicidal nature of the person was unsubstantiated.
16:91 – I received a call for service at 113 S. Oronogo in reference to violation of a protection order.
21:34 – Officers made a traffic stop near Arch and Tom streets in reference to a warrant arrest. A male subject fled on foot and led officers on a brief foot pursuit. He was apprehended and taken into custody for multiple warrants including a parole violation warrant and felony resisting arrest. An adult female was also taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
Wednesday, May 10
01:11 – Officers were dispatched to 717 Jillian Lane in reference to a medical call with law. Endangering the welfare of a child was referred to the Jasper County Children’s Division.
07:32 – I was dispatched to 1603 S. Ellis St. for a past-tense property damage.
11:12 – On 05/10/2023 at 1112 hours, I was dispatched to 1919 N. Rangeline for a subject with an outstanding warrant. I later took a male into custody for an outstanding warrant.
16:19 – I was dispatched to 721 N. Ball St. for a stolen vehicle.
17:08 – I was dispatched to Pennsylvania and Aylor streets for a male bleeding from an assualt. The victim was seen by EMTs, and the suspect was later taken into custody for assault.
22:59 – While on general patrol I observed a male subject inside White Oak Station, 2587 N Range Line Road, who I believed to have active warrants for his arrest. A 28-year-old male subject was taken into custody on multiple warrants.
Friday, May 12
07:35 – An officer was dispatched to Broadway and Ash Street in reference to a non-injury crash.
08:17 – Officers were dispatched to 10th and Madison streets in reference to an injury crash.
13:21 – I received a call for service at MacArthur Drive and Main Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
23:13 – I conducted a pedestrian check at Oak Street and Broadway. A male was taken into custody for three Webb City warrants and possession of controlled substance.
Saturday, May 13
07:28 – I stopped a truck at Ware and Walker streets for expired registration. The driver was arrested for driving while suspended.
12:30 – An officer was dispatched to Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St. #103 in reference to a past-tense theft report.
15:32 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison St., reference a runaway juvenile.
20:28 – I was dispatched to a non-injury motor vehicle accident at Madison and 13th streets.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
