Monday, July 3
11:15 – Officers were informed of a male subject with felony warrants at Redwood Apartments. One man was arrested on outstanding warrants.
Thursday, July 6
15:54 – Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of W. 16th St for a medical call. One female was found deceased and a death investigation was completed. There were no signs of foul play, and the death appeared natural.
Friday, July 7
18:44 – I was dispatched to the intersection of 12th and South Madison streets in reference to a two vehicle, non-injury, no fire crash.
Saturday, July 8
13:46 – Officers initiated a traffic stop near Zora Street and Duquense Road for a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. A male subject was arrested and 5.99 grams of a crystal substance that tested postive for methamphetamine and fentanyl was seized.
21:42 – I observed a maroon truck northbound on East Street from Macarthur Drive with a tail light out. A 37-year-old male was arrest for DWI and driving while revoked.
Sunday, July 9
00:08 – I observed a silver SUV southbound on Main Street from Second Street driving in the center of the road over the center line. A 40-year-old male was arrested for DWI.
12:59 – Officers were dispatched to 448 N. Washington St. in reference to a well-being check request. An investigation was initiated and a report was completed.
14:00 – I received a call for service at 1510 W. Aylor St. in reference to a protection order violation.
18:06 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense domestic at 660 E. Daugherty St.
Monday, July 10
I was dispatched to Main Street and MacArthur Drive for a past-tense two-vehicle non-injury accident.
07:55 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a violation of a protection order that occurred at Casey’s General Store, 337 S. Main St. A report will be forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.
09:35 – I was dispatched to 809 W. Daugherty St. for a found item, which was placed into evidence.
17:41 – Officers were dispatched to 416 N. Tom St. for a stolen trailer.
Tuesday, July 11
13:49 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for the report of a motor vehicle theft at 1825 S. Hall St.
19:34 – Officers were dispatched to 4506 Dirt Rd in reference to a stolen motorcycle.
Wednesday, July 12
09:35 – An officer was dispatched to Flat Creek Restaurant, 215 S. East St., in reference to a past-tense violation of protective order. Information was forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.
11:40 – I received a call for service at 324 N. Tom St. in reference to identity theft.
Thursday, July 13
11:53 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and College Street in reference to an expired license plate. The 21-year-old driver was cited and arrested for failure to register a motor vehicle, no valid proof of insurance, and a Jasper County warrant.
Friday, July 14
04:24 – I was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Madison St. in reference to a runaway juvenile.
07:30 – I was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Liberty St. for a small child walking in the roadway. Division of Family Services was contacted.
09:26 – I took a report for identity theft at 717 W. Third St.
10:24 – I was driving northbound on Madison Street near 13th St. when I saw a license plate lying in the roadway. I picked it up and tried to contact the registered owner of the license plate but was unsuccessful. The license plate was placed into evidence.
12:18 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East Street for a sexual assualt that occurred on East Fountain Road.
12:42 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.
13:45 – I took a report of a past-tense theft involving fraud at 1001 S. Madison St. The incident occurred on April 8 but was not recognized until July 14.
18:37 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense disturbance that occurred at 521 W. Austin St.
01:41 – I was dispatched to McDonald’s, 410 S. Madison St., for a possible intoxicated driver. As a result a 30 year old male was arrested for DWI.
Saturday, July 15
10:32 – I was dispatched to 1201 S. Madison St. for a found stolen vehicle. The owner had found his vehicle on the lot of a business. We contacted Jasper County Sheriff’s Department since it was their case. Once they arrived, we turned the vehicle over to them to be processed.
14:16 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a found item. The owner was later contacted and the property turned over to him.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
