22:50 – An officer on routine patrol conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur and Powell drives for a traffic violation. A 40-year-old male was taken into custody for a active felony warrant.
Wednesday, Aug. 2
A Joplin police detective investigated a possible child abuse incident in the 800 block of S. Oronogo St. and provided a report to WCPD.
Thursday, Aug. 3
18:18 – Officers were dispatched to 215 S. East St. in reference to a crash.
Friday, Aug. 4
18:04 – I was dispatched to Main Street and MacArthur Drive for a non-injury traffic accident.
20:52 – I was dispatched to 804 S. Hall St. for a disturbance in progress which turned into a assault.
Sunday, Aug. 6
01:51 – While on general patrol, an officer conducted a traffic stop at Zora Street and Range Line Road. One female was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant
20:41 – I was dispatched to a disturbance in progress at 721 S Madison St.
01:55 – An officer on routine patrol conducted a traffic stop at North East Street and Hawthorne Road for a traffic violation. A 45-year-old female was taken into custody for active warrants out of the city of Oronogo and given a warning for the traffic violation.
23:48 – Officers were dispatched to 305 N. Liberty St. in reference to a domestic in progress. One adult male was taken into custody for a safe keep.
Monday, Aug. 7
Officers were dispatched to 733 W. Cardinal Drive for a suspicious person. One 53-year-old male was taken into custody for active warrants and trafficking in the 2nd degree.
06:30 – I was dispatched to 836 Hawthorne Road for suspicious activity. It was reported that a large party occurred the night before. A group of around 10 persons were contacted once the home owner gave permission for police to enter the home via phone. Parents were called for all juveniles present.
21:35 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Enterprise and Red Iron drives. A 24-year-old male was arrested on Webb City warrants and for driving while suspended.
23:11 – Officers conducted a car stop at First and Washington streets. One male was arrested for trafficking drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and expired driver’s license.
Tuesday, Aug. 8
11:29 – Officers were dispatched to Fountain Road and Madison Sttreet for a motor vehicle accident.
15:21 – I was dispatched to 1010 Oakway Drive for a past-tense theft at Walmart.
18:59 – Officers responded to WCPD to take a walk-in report of a stolen bicycle that was stolen at 919 S. Madison St.
21:24 – An officer was dispatched to Murphy USA in reference to a harassment.
Wednesday, Aug. 9
00:38 – An officer was dispatched to Whiteoak Station, 411 S. Madison St., for a report of counterfeit money.
06:40 – An officer was dispatched to 701 S. Walker St. in reference to harassment.
08:36 – An officer was dispatched to the WCPD lobby in reference to a protection order violation which originally occurred at 1305 W. Austin St.
19:57 – I was dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a past-tense theft.
22:28 – I made a traffic stop near Madison and Broadway in reference to a traffic violation. One adult male was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.
Thursday, Aug. 10
08:07 – I was dispatched to 1229 Crow St. for a theft of property.
19:11 – I conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Prairie Flower Road for a lane violation. The subject was taken into custody for a outstanding warrant.
20:07 – I was dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a past-tense theft.
21:15 – I was dispatched to 1604 S. Ellis St. Apt 56 in reference to a past-tense domestic. One female was charged for domestic assault.
21:56 – Officers were dispatched to McDonald’s, 410 S. Madison St., in reference to a disturbance in progress.
Friday, Aug. 11
00:01 – I was dispatched to 337 S. Main St. in reference to a theft that just occurred.
12:58 – Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash with unknown injuries at Main Street and MacArthur Drive.
13:15 – I responded to a motor vehicle crash at MacArthur Drive and Ellis Street.
13:35 – I responded to a motor vehicle crash at Range Line Road and Zora Street.
14:14 – I was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Jefferson St. in reference to domestic assault.
16:26 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a past-tense domestic assault that had occurred at 524 N. Webb St.
21:27 – An officer was dispatched to 1607 S. Ellis St. Apt. 247 in reference to a past-tense theft.
22:13 – An officer was dispatched to 104 N. Madison St. for a disturbance in progress.
22:44 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Broadway and Daugherty St for a lane violation. A 35-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for improper lane use and driving while intoxicated.

00:05 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD regarding a possible impaired driver. One female was arrested for DWI and driving while suspended.

08:02 – I was dispatched to 1227 N. Range Line for a past-tense exparte violation.
17:57 – An officer was dispatched to 424 S. Elliott St. for a theft call.
18:56 – Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Chickadee St. for a report of a deceased male. A 57-year-old male was found deceased in his residence.
23:34 – An officer located at stolen U-Haul in front of 4550 Half Circle. A 45-year-old female was issued a citation for animal cruelty.
