14:00 – A walk-in report of property found at Madison Street and MacArthur Drive was taken at WCPD.
Thursday, Aug. 10
15:27 – I was dispatched to a report of property damage at 608 N. Tom St.
16:01 – I was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Hall St. and Galena Street for a non-injury accident involving two vehicles.
18:04 – I was dispatched to 4458 Country Boulevard, in reference to a animal complaint.
Friday, Aug. 11
22:00 – Officers were dispatched to 660 E. Daughtery St. in reference to a domestic assault.
Saturday, Aug. 12
11:12 – Officers took a report of a stolen bike and a found bike at 727 W. Broadway.
14:52 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Eighth streets. One male was arrested for outstanding warrants and driving while suspended.
17:15 – Officers took a theft from motor vehicle report at 501 S. Oakland St.
Sunday, Aug. 13
00:04 – An officer was dispatched to 613 N. Liberty St. for a medical unknown. A 64-year-old female was cited for misuse of 911.
00:26 – An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of W. Daugherty St. in reference to a runaway juvenile.
12:39 – An officer responded to the 800 block of N. Madison St. for a report of motor vehicle theft. One male juvenile was taken into custody.
12:54 – I responded to a call in regard to a possible intoxicated subject who had wrecked his motorized scooter near 824 N. East St. A 54-year-old male was arrested for DWI and multiple warrants.
15:48 – I was contacted at WCPD about a past-tense violation of an adult protection order. The incident occurred at 1305 W. Austin St.
17:59 – An individual came to WCPD to report almost getting hit by another vehicle at East Street and Jillian Drive. A citation was issued to an 18-year-old male for improper lane use.
21:00 – An officer initiated a traffic stop at Main Street and Stadium Drive. One male was taken into custody for driving while revoked.
21:15 – Officers conducted a traffic stop near Take-A-Break, 417 S. Main St. One male was arrested for DWI and resisting arrest.
Monday, Aug. 14
08:00 – I was dispatched to 4551 E. Zora St. for a theft. The caller reported someone stole his Taurus 9mm pistol from his vehicle.
11:56 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a warrant confirmation.
11:41 – I was dispatched to 508 N. Liberty St. regarding a possible past-tense burglary and ex-parte violation.
20:11 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to an accident where the suspect left the area.
23:05 – An officer conducted a pedestrian check on one adult male at Take-A-Break, 417 S. Main St. He was taken into custody for outstanding Webb City warrants.
Tuesday, Aug. 15
07:48 – Officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Half Circle in reference to a disturbance in progress. A citation was mailed for property damage.
12:04 – I received a call for service 4511 Dirt Road in reference to a theft at 4448 Country Blvd.
14:58 – I received a call for service at Seventh and Madison streets in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
Wednesday, Aug. 16
Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a report of threats to do harm that that had occurred at Main and First streets. A summons was issued for peace disturbance.
15:49 – Officers were dispatched to 2587 N. Range Line Road for a trespass in progress.
21:00 – An officer made a traffic stop near East Street and Macarthur Drive. One male was arrested for DWI-drugs.
22:08 – The WCPD DRE (drug recognition expert) fficer was dispatched to the Jasper County Jail in Carthage to conduct an evaluation for the sheriff
s department. The evaluation was conducted and a report was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.
Thursday, Aug. 17
I took a report for a past-tense assault by threats. The threats occurred at 920 Megan Ln.
Officers responded to Walmart for a trespass in progress.
Officers were dispatched to 4472 Country Boulevard for a report of theft. Information was obtained and a report was completed.
15:07 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense property damage.
16:52 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense identity theft.
22:10 – An officer was dispatched to Jillian Street and East Street to check the area for a stolen vehicle. Following a pursuit, a 39-year-old male was arrested for tampering 1st, resisting arrest, dwi persistent, and driving while revoked.
Friday, Aug. 18
08:44 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a theft from motor vehicle while at 732 W. First St.
08:47 – I took a report regarding a dog bite that occurred at 819 W. Daugherty St., apartment 2 on Aug. 15
09:50 – I received a call for service near Fountain Road and Goldstream Drive in reference to a suspicious person. A female was located and arrested for warrants, and stealing.
10:45 – I was dispatched to 4472 Country Boulevard regarding a past-tense property damage to a vehicle.
13:04 – I was dispatched to Otto Car Wash, 1727 S. Madison St., for a disturbance in progress. A subject was taken into custody.
16:02 – I was contacted at 507 S. Ball St. in reference to found property at 501 S. Ball St.
16:38 – I was dispatched to 807 Megan Lane regarding a past-tense domestic assault.
17:00 – I received a call for service at 507 S. Ball St. in reference to the theft of a bicycle.
21:32 – Officers were dispatched to 1267 Heather Lane in reference to a suspicious person. One adult male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
Saturday, Aug. 19
10:41 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a possible theft of checks information at 1614 S. College St.
13:24 – I was dispatched to Webb City Storage, 310 W. Fountain Road regarding a non-injury motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle hitting a barbed wire chainlink fence. Property damage was also involved.
16:33 – I was in the 1200 block of W. Seventh St. when I observed a vehicle in the driveway of a residence that matched the description of stolen vehicle from the City of Carthage. The vehicle was confirmed as stolen and it was recovered and turned over to the Carthage Police Department.
17:17 – I was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Webb St. regarding a suicidal male subject. The 54-year-old male was transported to a hospital for a 96-hour hold and further evaluation.
23:51 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Centennial Drive for multiple violations. The 29-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for no valid drivers license, improper lane use, and driving while intoxicated.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
