Saturday, Sept. 23
10:42 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a report of theft. A summons was issued.
10:45 – On 09/23/2023 at 1045 hours officers responded to 1212 S Madison for a report of theft. As a result, information was gathered and a report was completed.
10:45 – Officers responded to Walmart for a past-tense trespass. A summons was issued.
11:03 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a motor vehicle crash.
14:50 – I was dispatched to 614 S. Oakland St. for a stolen vehicle.
16:47 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. A 19-year-old male was issued a citation for shoplifting.
18:47 – Officers were dispatched to 118 S. Hall St. in reference to a domestic in progress. One 51-year-old male was taken into custody.
20:23 – I responded to a hit-and-run at 717 W. Daugherty St. A citation was mailed to the suspect after it was discovered who it was.
23:45 – An officer was dispatched to Waffle House in reference to leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash.
Sunday, Sept. 24
01:45 – An officer conducted a car stop. One female was arrested for DWI.
13:42 – Officers were dispatched to a disturbance with weapons at 1100 Crow St. Apt 8. One male was arrested for making a false report to police.
19:33 – An officer was dispatched to 501 N. Liberty St. for an animal complaint. One 20-year-old female was issued a citation for animal at large.
Monday, Sept. 25
08:58 – I responded to a call at Kum and Go, 2587 N. Range Line Road, for suspicious person. The subject was taken into custody.
13:14 – An officer was dispatched to Ware and Hall streets in reference to a peace disturbance complaint. An incident report was forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office for further review and filing of formal charges.
15:18 – I was dispatched to 510 S. Oronogo St. for a non-injury vehicle vs. bus crash. A citation was issued.
15:44 – Officers were dispatched to Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St., in reference to a subject at that location trespassing and making threats. One 28-year-old male was arrested for trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia, and making terroristic threats in the first degree.
18:38 – I took a walk-in report at WCPD regarding a past-tense sexual assault.
Tuesday, Sept. 26
06:56 – I was dispatched to 220 N. Jefferson St. for property damage.
07:43 – I was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Jefferson Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.
07:51 – An officer was dispatched to 2030 Redbird Drive in reference to a request to check the well being of a female subject.
11:01 – An officer was dispatched to the WCPD lobby in reference to a past-tense theft which originally occurred at 1956 W. MacArthur Drive. An information report was forwarded to the investigations division.
11:01 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a reported violation of a protective order. Charges for violation of a protective order were submitted on the 40-year-old male suspect.
16:05 – I conducted a stop at Prairie Flower Road and Highway 171 for traffic violations. The driver was taken into custody for driving while revoked.
16:30 – An officer made a stop on a pedestrian in the parking lot at Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St., due to a current investigation. The 43-year-old suspect was arrested for some outstanding warrants.
21:19 – I made a traffic stop near Madison and 11th streets in reference to a license violation. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.
22:14 – I initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Seventh and Madison streets. A 28-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while revoked and was issued a citation for failure to provide valid proof of insurance at the time of the stop.
Wednesday, Sept. 27
10:34 – I was contacted at Murphy USA, 1224 S. Madison St., in reference to stealing gasoline. A citation was sent to a 51-year-old male.
Thursday, Sept. 28
04:03 – An officer was dispatched to Cardinal Towers, 324 N Tom St., in reference to a past-tense theft.
07:45 – I conducted a traffic stop on Oronogo Street near MacArthur Drive. The driver was taken into custody for driving while suspended.
12:37 – I was contacted at the police department for a past-tense vicious animal/dog at large.
Friday, Sept. 29
13:13 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a theft. A 29-year-old woman was cited for shoplifting.
14:12 – I received a call for service at Mid-Missouri Bank’s construction site, 1421 S. Madison, in reference to two men trespassing and stealing items from the site. Two males were subsequently arrested for trespass and stealing.
15:59 – I was dispatched to a theft in progress at Walmart. A subject was taken into custody.
18:49 – I received a call for a non-injury motor vehicle accident at the roundabout involving two-vehicles.
Saturday, Sept. 30
14:23 – I received a call for service at WCPD in reference to found property at Daugherty and East streets.
15:51 – At 1551 hours, officers were dispatched to Walmart for a disturbance. The caller reported two subjects were arguing and fighting in the parking lot. A 55-year-old man was cited for property damage.
16:58 – I received a call for service at Wendy’s, 1229 S. Madison St., in reference disturbance in progress between a male and female inside a motor vehicle.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
