Three JROTC rifle teams invited to compete at nationals

The Webb City High School JROTC program received news this week that three of its rifle teams have been invited to compete at the national air rifle championships.

“This is significant,” says Lt. Col. Dustin Elder, because there only 50 teams invited nationwide. 

The Army JROTC National Service Championships are held every year in February at Camp Perry, Ohio. This won’t be the first time Webb City has competed nationally, but it will be the the first time three teams have been invited.
