19:50 – Officers responded to Galena and Tom streets for a abandoned vehicle. The truck was towed for blocking a stop sign.

Thursday, Feb. 1

13:01 – An officer was dispatched to 4485 Dirt Rd. for a past-tense disturbance. One 33-year-old male was arrested for outstanding warrants.

17:03 – An officer was dispatched to Madison Street and Cardinal Drive for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

Friday, Feb. 2

21:38 – I was dispatched to the 1800 bock of S. Oronogo St. regarding a runaway juvenile.

22:55 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Main and Vine streets for a vehicle registration violation. A 44-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

Saturday, Feb. 3

19:06 – Officers were dispatched to 530-F N. East St. in reference to a intoxicated subject. One 64-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI-alcohol, driving while suspended, and a Joplin warrant.

Sunday, Feb. 4

01:10 – Officers conducted a car stop Near MacArthur and Powell drives. One female was arrested for DWI.

02:20 – Officers stopped a vehicle near Zora Street and Range Line Road. One male was arrested for felony DWI.

11:40 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense theft at 807 N. Oak St.

Sunday, Feb. 4

18:33 – I was dispatched to WCPD for fraudulent use of a credit device at 901 N. Hall St.

18:59 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison St. for a report of a runaway.

Monday, Feb. 5

11:07 – An officer was dispatched to Madison Pet Clinic, 1631 S Madison St., in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.

15:21 – An officer while on general patrol conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Enterprise and Industrial avenues. A 29-year-old male was arrested for driving while revoked.

15:41 – An officer was dispatched to 525 S. Hall St. in reference to harassment.

19:58 – Officers made a traffic stop at Main Street and MacArthur Drive for failing to maintain lane. One female was taken into custody for DWI-drug.

Tuesday, Feb. 6

09:14 – Officers were dispatched to 600 N. Pennsylvania St. for a suspicious person. A 37-year-old male was taken into custody on parole warrants and was transported to Jasper County Jail.

10:03 – Officers were dispatched to Damascus Road Outreach and Daycare, 1005 W. Daugherty St., for a trespass in progress. A 26-year-old male was arrested on Webb City warrants.

12:26 – Officers took a report at WCPD for a theft and identity scam that occurred at 610 S. Hall St.

13:07 – An officer was dispatched to Broadway and Madison Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

13:14 – I conducted a traffic stop on Seventh Street near Zigler Street. The driver and passenger were taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

13:57 – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of N. Ball St. for an assault in progress.

20:23 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and 14th streets for expired tags. A 20-year-old male was arrested for driving while revoked.

22:41 – Officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart in reference to a theft in progress. A 42-year-old female was taken into custody for failure to identify and multiple Joplin warrants.

Wednesday, Feb. 7

12:36 – An officer was dispatched to 502 S. Devon St. in reference to a peace disturbance. One adult was taken into custody.

20:27 – I was dispatched to 411 N. Oak St. regarding a disturbance in progress. A citation was issued for domestic assault.

21:50 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Center Lane and East Zora Street, where a passenger fled on foot. One male was taken into custody for driving while suspended. Another male was issued citations for resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia, and A female was taken into custody for Carterville warrants.

Thursday, Feb. 8

05:48 – I was dispatched to 218 S. Liberty St. in reference a past-tense assault. One adult male was taken into custody for assault and resisting arrest.

09:11 – Officers responded to the 15th and College streets in reference to someone being followed home by another vehicle. This was determined to be a road-rage incident and a summons was issued to one of the adult female drivers for careless driving.

14:51 – Officers were dispatched to Vine and Main streets reference property damage that had just occurred.

14:57 – Officers were dispatched to Hall Street Park,  514 N. Hall St., reference a suspicious vehicle. Two subjects were taken into custody for outstanding warrants and another for probable cause on felony drug trafficking.

17:30 – I took a report for an adult order of protection violation at 1020 N. Madison St.

19:03 – Officers were dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

Friday, Feb. 9

01:01 – Officers were dispatched to the 00 block of N. Madison St. in reference a physical domestic in progress. A juvenile male was transported to juvenile detention for domestic assault and minor in possession of alcohol.

12:13 – Officers were dispatched to 901 N. Hall St. for a past-tense ex parte violation. Charges were submitted to the Jasper County prosecutor.

12:34 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense theft.

15:22 – An individual came to WCPD to report an item possibly stolen while at 603 W. Aylor St. The item was later located and returned to the owner.

15:58 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft in progress. One 29-year-old male was taken into custody for stealing.

16:20 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense shoplifting.

16:43 – I was dispatched to 4471 Country Blvd. for a past-tense harassment.

Saturday, Feb. 10

Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting. One 36-year-old female was cited and released for shoplifting.

00:10 – The WCPD DRE (drug recognition expert) officer was dispatched to the county jail to conduct a DRE evaluation for the Jasper County Sheriff Department.  The evaluation will be forwarded to the arresting officer.

01:08 – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle at Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., for not displaying a license plate. One 33-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while revoked.

07:17 – An officer observed a black Ford Flex near Galena and Tom streets. The vehicle matched the description of one that was stolen from Crawford County. The VIN was run, and it was confirmed stolen.

08:09 – I took a report for a violation of a protection order that occurred at 701 N. Ball St. Charges were forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.

08:56 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Church and Hall streets. A 34-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

09:25 – I was dispatched to 717 N. Campbell St. for a disturbance in progress that had turned physical. One male was later taken into custody for domestic assault.

10:20 – Officers were dispatched to 620 N. Pennsylvania St. for a domestic assault.

15:19 – Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in progress on the 600 block of N. Hall St. A  26-year-old male was taken into custody on assault charges.
