18:00 – Officers were dispatched to First and East streets in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. One male was arrested for DWI.
Wednesday, March 20
13:30 – I was dispatched to the 900 block of N. East Street for a disturbance. The caller reported her son was threatened by several other juveniles.
Saturday, March 23
11:20 – An officer initiated a traffic stop near Zora Street and Range Line Road for a traffic offense. One 67-year-old male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
Sunday, March 24
00:16 – I observed a pick up truck commit a traffic violation at Main Street and MacArthur Drive. A 21-year-old male was arrested for DWI.
02:30 – Officers conducted a car stop at 475 S. Madison St. One male was arrested for felony and misdemeanor warrants.
07:38 – An officer was dispatched to 1604 S. Ellis St. for a reported stolen vehicle.
08:06 – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Roane St. for a missing juvenile.
14:43 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Enterprise and Red Iron drives for a traffic violation. One 70-year-old female was taken into custody for driving with no license.
15:42 – An officer initiated a traffic stop on a bicycle for multiple traffic violations. One 38-year-old male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants, and drug offenses.
Monday, March 25
16:35 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a found property at King Jack Park.
Tuesday, March 26
12:10 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a forgery that occurred at Walmart.
12:21 – I received a call for service at Walmart in reference to shoplifting. Three juvenile females were subsequently arrested and transported to the Jasper County Juvenile Detention Center.
18:57 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a walk-in warrant arrest.
19:51 – Officers were dispatched to 215 S. East St. for a report of harassment.
20:38 – Officers were dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a shoplifting that had just occurred. One 38-year-old male was cited and released after the recovery of the stolen property.
21:36 – I made a traffic stop near Main and Galena streets in reference a license violation. One adult female was arrested for driving while revoked.
22:06 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Webb and Broadway. One 28-year-old female was taken into custody for DWI-drugs.
Wednesday, March 27
02:14 – A traffic stop was initiated in front of 639 S. Oronogo St. in relation to a call regarding suspicious activity. A 40-year-old female was taken into custody for Joplin, Webb City, and Jasper County active warrants.
07:09 – Officers were dispatched to 902 S. Roane Court for a report of property damage.
07:57 – An officer on general patrol located a suspicious vehicle at Fountain and Eagle Roads. A 37-year-old male was arrested on a outstanding warrant.
14:30 – Officers took a report of a sexual offense that occurred in the 400 block of N. Elliott St. An investigation was initiated.
22:14 – An officer responded to 1848 S. Oronogo St. for a disturbance in progress. A 35-year-old female was arrested for assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
Thursday, March 28
13:26 – An officer was dispatched to Flat Creek restaurant, 215 S. East St., in reference to a found firearm.
15:11 – Officers were dispatched to 1032 W. Seventh St. for a paste-tense leaving-the-scene motor vehicle accident.
20:42 – An officer conducted a traffic stop on a white Nissan Pathfinder for expired tags near East and Sharon Dr. As a result a 38-year-old male was placed into custody for a suspended driving status.
Friday, March 29
17:13 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. One 53-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting, trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia.
20:19 – I attempted a traffic stop near Highway 171 and Prairie Flower Road. The vehicle fled and led officers on a short vehicle pursuit. The driver fled off-road and I lost sight of the vehicle.
Saturday, March 30
10:20 – An officer was dispatched to Freeman Urgent Care, 1636 S. Madison St., in reference to a past-tense dog bite, which originally occurred the previous night at 111 Golf Rd.
13:12 – I was dispatched to 733 Jillian Drive, for drug activity. An investigation is being conducted.
18:38 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft.
19:29 – I was on patrol at Kennedy Lane and Myrtle Road when I saw a dirt bike with a license violation. The bike fled from officers, and a successful pursuit was initiated. Summonses were issued for the traffic violations.
