Friday, June 7
12:15 – An officer arrived at 1207 Nelson St. for a disturbance.
20:24 – I was conducting traffic enforcement at Madison Street MacArthur Drive when I noticed a white Chevy passenger car fail to maintain lane. A traffic stop was conducted at Oakland Street and MacArthur Drive. One 92-year-old male was taken into custody for a Jasper County warrant.
21:23 – Officers responded to Madison Street MacArthur Drive for a motor vehicle accident.
Saturday, June 8
18:02 – Officers responded to 1607 Jefferson Circle for an assault in progress. One 39-year-old male was arrested for assault.
21:32 – I was conducting traffic enforcement at Madison Street and Fountain Road when I observed a vehicle make an improper turn. A 21-year-old male was arrested for a Jasper County warrant and driving while revoked.
22:07 – At 1314 S. Madison St., officers conducted a traffic stop on a small passenger vehicle. One 37-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.
22:56 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 622 S. Madison St. A 36-year-old male was taken into custody for an active warrant.
Sunday, June 9
01:02 – Officers were dispatched to 311 S. Ball St. in reference to a disturbance in progress. One 26-year-old female was taken into custody for DWI, and a stolen firearm was recovered.
01:37 – Officers responded to 1127 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a wanted subject being there with multiple felony warrants. A 58-year-old female was taken into custody after a contain and call-out was conducted.
13:03 – I did a pedestrian check at 1572 S. Madison St. in reference to a red bike being stolen from 501 S. Ball St. A suspect was taken into custody.
15:45 – I took a report of attempted fraud from the intended victim at 1126 Hillside Drive. The attempted fraud occurred between May 1 and June 8.
16:09 – An officer was dispatched to 12th and Madison streets in reference to a non-injury crash.
16:41 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a non-injury leaving-the-scene of a crash. The driver who left the scene was located and arrested.
20:30 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and Stadium Drive for expired tags. A 35-year-old female was placed into custody for DWS.
22:07 – I made a traffic stop near Ninth and Madison streets in reference to an equipment violation. One adult male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
22:31 – I heard a loud crash in the area of Madison and 13th streets. I located a two-vehicle minor-injury accident.
23:45 – I made a traffic stop near MacArthur Drive and Oakland Street in reference to an equipment violation. One adult male was taken into custody for being a fugitive from justice.
Monday, June 10
04:14 – I made a traffic stop near MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street in reference a department assist. One adult male was taken into custody for charges out of Joplin City.
10:59 – Officers were dispatched to 1628 S. Jefferson St. reference animal at large and other animal violations. A citation was issued to a 27-year-old female for dog at large.
12:03 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a theft that occurred at 605 N. Ball St.
19:25 – I was dispatched to 1628 Jefferson Circle regarding an animal complaint. Three citations for animal at large will be issued to the owner of the three dogs involved in this incident.
Tuesday, June 11
07:23 – I conducted a traffic stop on Range Line Road near Zora Street. The driver was later taken into custody for driving while suspended and an outstanding warrant.
13:45 – I took a report of assault in the 800 block of W. First St. One male juvenile was charged with assaulting an adult and another juvenile.
19:53 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. A 56-year-old female was issued citations for shoplifting.
22:03 – Officers were dispatched to 624 N. Devon St. in reference to a disturbance in progress. As a result one 24-year-old male was taken into custody for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
Wednesday, June 12
08:00– An officer was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a non-injury crash.
13:48 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a fraudulent use of credit device at 337 S. Main St.
13:50 – I received a call for service at MacArthur Drive and Madison Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
16:37 – An officer was dispatched to 1502 S. Ellis St. in reference to a theft of a purse.
18:03 – An officer was dispatched to Madison and Seventh streets in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.
Thursday, June 13
07:05 – I received a call for service at 1400 W. Austin St. in reference to fraudulent use of a credit device.
08:57 – I was dispatched to WCPD for found property at 618 W. Fourth St.
10:53 – Officers were dispatched to a non-injury crash at Fourth and Oronogo streets.
22:48 – I made a traffic stop near Madison and 15th streets in reference to a license violation. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while revoked.
Friday, June 14
09:57 – An officer was dispatched to Security Pawn & Gun, 1901 S. Madison St., in reference to a past-tense burglary.
11:05 – Officers were dispatched to Daugherty and Webb streets in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury traffic crash.
12:24 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense identity theft and fraud at 518 N. Liberty St.
12:49 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft in progress. One 35-year-old male was taken into custody.
17:52 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. One 38-year-old male was taken into custody for shoplifting.
23:45 – An officer responded to Hall and Ware streets to assist on a traffic stop. A 44-year-old male was arrested for DWI.
Saturday, June 15
04:55 – An officer responded to a deceased subject in the 600 block of S. Walker St.
11:11 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a non-injury motor vehicle crash.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
