08:52 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a report of a theft in progress.
16:52 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
Sunday, July 14
12:43 – Officers were dispatched to 1206-E W. MacArthur Drive for a past-tense burglary from a business.
14:57 – I was dispatched to 1992 Stadium Drive for a past-tense property damage.
16:12 – Officers were dispatched to a suicidal-subject call in the 1700 block of Kent Drive. One male was transported by law enforcement to a local hospital.
18:41 – Officers responded to 1510 S. Madison St. for a fruad in progress.
Monday, July 15
09:15 – An officer was dispatched to 324 N. Tom St. in reference to a past-tense theft.
13:52 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to the theft of property.
14:35 – An officer was dispatched to the WCPD lobby in reference to a possible fraud that originally occurred at 1738 Redwood Drive.
15:56 – Officers were on patrol at Oronogo and Daughtery streets when a traffic stop was initiated and a 42-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Tuesday, July 16
07:10 – I received a call for service in the 1700 block of Redwood in reference to a deceased person.
11:58 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a fraud that occurred at Walmart.
12:24 – I received a call for service at 4476 Country Blvd. in reference to theft of property.
20:47 – While on general patrol, an officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Ninth and Madison streets. One female was taken into custody for multiple Webb City and Joplin warrants and driving while suspended.
Wednesday, July 17
00:09 – An officer was dispatched to Levi Lane and Aylor Street in reference to a careless-and-imprudent driver. One 17-year-old juvenile was issued a citation.
13:24 – I took a report for a past-tense property damage that occurred at 610 N. Madison St.
14:36 – I was contacted at the police department for a past-tense unlawful use of credit device at 1206 W. First St.
15:20 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense assault that occurred at 701 S. Walker St. Apt. A.
16:10 – I was dispatched to a two-vehicle, possible-injury, motor vehicle accident at the roundabout.
16:39 – An officer was dispatched to 707 W. Austin St. for a report of theft from motor vehicle.
22:39 – Officers responded to 306 N. Main St. for a vehicle that just stolen.
Thursday, July 18
00:06 – Officers where dispatched to 621 S. Walker St. for a trespass in progress. A citation was issued.
10:46 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a bicycle that was found near 1020 N. Webb St. The bicycle was retrieved and placed into evidence.
14:44 – Officers were dispatched to a check well-being at 1802-4C S. Oronogo St. One male was arrested for domestic assault and additional charges.
16:46 – An officer conducted a stop on a 32-year-old male riding a bicycle on the wrong side of the road near Galena and Webb streets. He was taken into custody for outstanding warrants, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
19:23 – Officers responded to 4575 E. Zora St. apartment E for a fraud call.
Friday, July 19
14:23 – An officer was on patrol at Third and Main streets when I observed a vehicle with moving violations. One 30-year-old male was arrested for driving while suspended.
22:04 – I was contacted in reference to a past-tense theft at Walmart.
22:57 – Officers were dispatched to 325 S. Tom St. in reference a domestic in progress. One adult male was taken into custody for domestic assault and driving while intoxicated.
Saturday, July 20
11:39 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a report of suspicious activity. The caller reported someone was looking into cars in the parking lot. The 29-year-old man was located and arrested on an active Webb City warrant for peace disturbance.
15:43 – I was dispatched to a shoplifting at Walmart. The subject was taken into custody after a warrant check revealed a felony warrant out of state.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
