00:28 – I was dispatched to Route 66 Sports Bar, 660 E. Daugherty St., in reference to an assault.
18:33 – I was dispatched to 524 S. Oakland St. regarding theft from a motor vehicle.
20:31 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress.
Sunday, Aug. 11
03:51 –Officers were dispatched to 1100-361 W. 14th St. for a domestic assault. One male was charged with property damage.
11:15 – Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Eagle St. in reference to a single-vehicle crash with unknown injuries.
14:14 – Officers located a piece of jewelry in the parking lot at the police station. It was placed into evidence for safe keep.
17:57 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. A 42-year-old woman was cited and released.
19:45 – I was dispatched to Robert J Baker Parkway (King Jack Park) regarding theft from a motor vehicle.
22:27 – Officers were dispatched to a non-injury crash at the roundabout, Centennial Street and MacArthur Drive.
Monday, Aug. 12
14:23 – Officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Pool Road in reference to a missing or runaway juvenile. The juvenile in question was soon located.
15:34 – I received a call for service at 621 S. Walker St. in reference to trespass in progress. A male was subsequently arrested for a warrant.
16:11 – I received a call for service at Walmart in reference to a past-tense shoplifting.
19:26 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting in progress. A traffic stop was conducted on the suspect vehicle and suspects were identified. An 18-year-old male was charged with shoplifting and charges will be sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office for review of the other suspects involved.
Tuesday, Aug. 13
09:22 – Officers were dispatched to 317 N. Pennsylvania St. reference a past-tense theft.
12:33 – Officers were dispatched to a careless and imprudent driving complaint at Seventh and Oakland streets. A 30-year-old female was arrested for DWI-D, DWR, and weapon violation.
13:51 – An officer was dispatched to 219 S. Roane St. in reference to a past-tense property damage.
17:32 – Officers responded to 1014 W. Daughtery St. for a burglary past-tense. Evidence was gathered and a report was started.
18:53 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting in progress. A traffic stop was conducted on the suspect vehicle and a 27-year-old male was detained and taken back to the Walmart asset protection office. The suspect was taken into custody at the conclusion of the investigation and charged with shoplifting and trespassing.
23:17 – Officers responded to 720 E. MacArthur Drive for a non-injury crash.
Wednesday, Aug. 14
00:43 – An officer was dispatched to 1001 E. Linden St. in reference to found property. The item was collected and placed in evidence.
04:04 – An officer attempted to stop two subjects for suspicious activity in the area of Cardinal Towers, 324 N Tom St. One subject fled on foot and was apprehended. A 27-year-old male was taken into custody for resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property.
10:55 – An officer was on routine patrol near Hall Street Park, 502 N. Hall St., where a male was seen going from his vehicle into the park multiple times. Contact was made with the male, who was a registered sex offender. One 42-year-old male was taken into custody for a sex offender violation.
12:30 – I took a report of an order of protection violation that had occurred earlier in the morning at 1229 Matthew Circle. Charges for the violation have been forwarded to the prosecutors office.
18:34 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft.
22:00 – An individual brought some found items to WCPD stating he located them somewhere in town. The items were placed into evidence until the owner could be located and returned.
22:03 – I initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Madison Street and Mount Hope Road. A 41-year-old female was taken into custody for Webb City warrants.
Thursday, Aug. 15
I received a phone call about a past-tense assault on a child. The incident allegedly occurred in the 1600 hundred block of Leighten Court on Aug. 12.
08:30 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
09:31 – An officer was dispatched to 1604 S. Ellis St. Apt 28 in reference to harassment.
11:53 – An officer was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Centennial Street in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.
21:57 – I was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Pennsylvania St. for a burglary. The victim reported several incidents of vandalism and an unlawful entry to the home.
Friday, Aug. 16
13:46 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a disturbance in progress.
1635 – I was dispatched to 1011 W. Eighth St. for a stolen vehicle, a blue 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek.
17:43 – Officers were dispatched to 1002 S. Jefferson St. for an ex-parte violation. Charges were filed and a report was taken.
21:09 – Officers were dispatched to 1715-L S. Madison St. in reference a disturbance in progress. An officer made a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle. One adult female was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.

Saturday, Aug. 17
00:45 – I made a traffic stop at Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference a traffic violation. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.
09:23 – I received a call for service at 4543 Pool Road in reference to the theft of pet carrier.
14:06 – I received a call for service at 1622 Jefferson Circle in reference to the theft of a package.
19:12 – Officer’s were dispatched to 340 S. Pennsylvania St. in reference to gunshots heard in the area. A 45-year-old male was taken into custody for an active felony warrant and active misdemeanor warrants. Officers were unable to locate the source or location of any gunshots.
22:16 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Broadway and Cedar St. One adult male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
23:08 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Zora Street and Myrtle Road for a lane violation. One 45-year-old female was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.
