16:00 – While at Municipal Court, 200 S. Main St., the suspect was made aware of a felony warrant for his arrest and he fled from the building.
Wednesday, Sept. 4
12:39 – I was dispatched to Oronogo Street and MacArthur Drive for a check well-being. The caller reported a man had passed out in the roadway. The 49-year-old man was arrested on Webb City warrants.
Friday, Sept. 6
15:00 – Officers were dispatched to MacArthur Drive near Jefferson Street for a motor vehicle crash that had occurred at MacArthur and Oronogo Street.
Saturday, Sept. 7
17:33 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to the theft of a wallet from Murphy USA, 1224 S. Madison St.
23:50 – I was at Whataburger, 714 S. Madison St. when a female came inside the restaurant and informed me there was a male in a black Durango who seemed heavily intoxicated. A traffic stop was made and a 31-year-old male was arrested for DWI, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon.
Sunday, Sept. 8
03:12 – Officers were dispatched to 311 S. Ball St. in reference to possible trespassing.
13:03 – An officer was dispatched to 911 W. 16th St. for a past-tense burglary.
16:02 – While speaking to the driver of a scooter, a small group of juveniles walked up and began interfering with the traffic stop. One juvenile kept interfering, his grandparents, who lived nearby were made aware of the incident. A report will be completed and sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.
Monday, Sept. 9
12:48 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a violation of a protection order at 1707 Redwood Drive.
16:22 – I was dispatched to 1848-3A S. Oronogo St., for an exparte violation.
20:07 – Officers were dispatched to 501 N. Oronogo St. in reference to a dog bite. The dog was taken to the Humane Society and the owner was given citations for dog at large and vicious animal.
Tuesday, Sept. 10
13:52 – I received a call for service at 1636 S. Madison St. in reference to a motor vehicle crash.
20:35 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a past-tense theft that occurred at 726 S. Ellis St.
Wednesday, Sept. 11
00:02 – Officers responded to 1848 S. Oronogo St. Apt 3A for a violation of an order of protection. Charges were submitted to the prosecuting attorney.
00:25 – Officers were dispatched to 1001 W. First St. in reference to a suspicious person. One adult male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
07:53 – Officers were dispatched to 4548 Pool Road in reference to a disturbance. One 34-year-old female was issued a citation for peace disturbance.
09:38 – An officer on general patrol located a pile of dumped trash under the MO 249 bridge and East Fountain Road. A 40-year-old male was arrested for littering.
12:07 – An officer was dispatched to 517 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a theft.
16:50 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD for a report of theft of property at 908 W. Third St.
20:19 – Officers responded to 1848 S. Oronogo St. Apt 3A for a violation of an adult protection order. Charges were submitted to the state prosecutor.
20:32 – I was dispatched to 1515 W. Broadway regarding an individual discharging an air gun which caused damage to a motor vehicle.
22:10 – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Daugherty St. for suspicious person. A report was sent to the juvenile office.
Thursday, Sept. 12
00:33 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement when he observed a bicycle without required lights on Madison Street at Second Street. A male subject fled on foot and led officers on a brief foot pursuit. He was apprehended and was taken into custody for warrants, including probation violation warrant and felony resisting arrest.
02:56 – I was dispatched to 903 W. Daugherty St. in reference to property damage.
11:40 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to the fraudulent use of a credit device.
16:20 – On 09/12/2024 at 1620 hours, I was dispatched to Atwoods, 220 S. East St., to assist a detective with an investigation.
19:02 – I was dispatched to Walmart regarding harassment between two involved parties.
Friday, Sept. 13
00:02 – An officer made a pedestrian stop near Madison and Second Street. One 30-year-old male was taken into custody for warrants.
11:02 – I received a call for service at 4563 E. Zora St. in reference to peace disturbance.
13:09 – I received a call for service at 605 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a lost or stolen license plate.
Saturday, Sept. 14
19:08 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft. One adult male was taken into custody for shoplifting and outstanding warrants for his arrest.
