WISE BUYER ADS
A tag sale starts Friday, March 20, at 1 South Main from 9 to 4 and continues on Saturday from 9 to 3. That was Phil Richardson’s law office until he retired recently so there will be office furniture and supplies. Phil and his wife, Eileen Nichols, are moving to Colorado in a few months and don’t want to move three generations of things. The sale items span 140 years, including silver from the 1880s, and books that old too, all the way to modern day things. There will be antique furniture, china, crystal, paintings, lots of books, jars of nails, and everything in between. Eileen is selling her inventory from The Downtown Gift Shop, which operated in the 1990’s. Eileen’s bassinet from 1950 is for sale and so is her grandfather’s little rocking chair from about 1900. The sale runs from 9 to 4 on Friday and 9 to 3 on Saturday. If you’re buying furniture, bring help. Some of it is heavy. Payment can be made in cash or by credit or debit card.
