16:50 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a theft from 1231 Elm Court. The caller reported he received an Amazon package with no product inside.
Friday, Sept. 20
18:51 – I took a report for an adult order of protection violation that occurred at 1229 Matthew Circle.
Sunday, Sept. 22
00:45 – I initiated a traffic stop at the roundabout. A 23-year-old male was taken into custody for several active Webb City warrants.
10:55 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a firearm that was stolen from the area of 210 N. Main St. between Sept. 15 and 19.
16:28 – Officers were dispatched to 314 S. Tom St. for a burglary that had just occurred. One female was later arrested nearby.
23:51 – Officers were dispatched to 603 S. Walker St. for an ex-parte violation. A 27-year-old female was taken into custody.
Monday, Sept. 23
03:40 – I was dispatched to the 1000 block of Gavin Jett Parkway regarding a medical call for a 79-year-old female. She was determined to be deceased and the scene was turned over to Parker Mortuary.
07:21 – I was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Centennial Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash. One of the drivers left the scene, but he later turned himself in.
07:29 – Officers were dispatched to 1011 Mineral St. in reference to a disturbance, which resulted in no complaints from any party. A short time later, another call was received for another disturbance at the same address. One 44-year-old white male was arrested for domestic assault.
12:53 – I received a call for service in reference to a motor vehicle accident at Range Line Road and Ten Pin Lane.
14:17 – I was dispatched to 603 S. Walker St. for a violation of a protection order.
Tuesday, Sept. 24
08:08 – I received a call for service at Maplewood Manor, 1802 S. Oronogo St., in reference to stealing.
09:35 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a found item.
11:39 – An officer was dispatched to First and Liberty streets in reference to a non-injury crash.
12:00 – I received a call for service at Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St., in reference to animal cruelty and neglect.
12:56 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a theft that had occurred at Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St. Apt. 506. Report was taken.
18:52 – I observed a traffic violation at Roane and Daugherty streets. The subject then fled on foot at Roane and Austin streets but was apprehended and taken into custody for resisting arrest.
19:45 – Officers responded to 4497-Apt C E. Zora St. for a past-tense harassment. A summons was issued.
Wednesday, Sept. 25
10:51 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of W. First St. reference a juvenile in possession of a controlled substance. A report was forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutor.
11:43 – Officers were dispatched to a check well-being in the 1300 block of W. Broadway. One deceased male was located.
14:55 – Units were dispatched to 328 S. Ball St. for shots fired. A male was later taken into custody for unlawful use of a weapon.
17:16 – Officers were dispatched to 16th and Madison streets for a motor vehicle crash.
18:30 – A phone was turned in to officers at the Homecoming Bonfire, 603 W. Aylor St.
20:04 – Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of W. Aylor St. for a fight in progress. Four juveniles were transported to juvenile detention.
Victim contacted WCPD to report that he had stored furniture at Cardinal Storage, 1038 N. Madison Street after moving household furniture into the storage unit on Aug. 3, 2024. His account was closed and he had not been able to get cooperation from the business to obtain his property valued at $8,000.
Thursday, Sept. 26
10:20 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a theft from 422 N. Washington St. One 34-year-old female was mailed a citation for stealing.
17:42 – An officer was dispatched to 1502 S. Madison St. in reference to a theft.
18:32 – Officers were dispatched to 704 N. Main St. for a check well-being.
Friday, Sept. 27
07:40 – An officer was dispatched to Powell and MacArthur drives in reference to a non-injury crash.
11:08 – Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of W. Broadway for a 911 hang up. The investigation revealed a man and woman argued, threats of abuse were made, and the victim called 911 before hanging up.
Saturday, Sept. 28
01:24 – A vehicle was stopped for no license plate. The 21-year-old male driver was arrested for DWI drug.
08:57 – An officer was dispatched to 208 N. Webb St. in reference to a theft.
11:35 – An officer was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
