Webb City soccer is seeded third in the Class 3 District 6 tournament that begins Monday in Willard.
The Lady Cardinals will play the last game on opening day at 5:30 against sixth-ranked Hillcrest.
Springfield Catholic and Willard are the top two seeds. Carl Junction is seeded fourth and will play Springfield Central at 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Semifinals will be Wednesday, May 21, and the final will be at 6 p.m. Friday, May 23.
The Cardinals wrapped up their regular season Tuesday with a 5-0 win at Joplin.
Three of those scores came within the first 10 minutes.
In the 4th minute, Dakota DeGraffenreid was awarded a penalty kick and got the goal off a soft touch.
In the 6th minute, Avery Pogue’s assist allowed Avery Allen to charge in and kick the goal straight down the middle.
In the 9th minute, Avery Pogue earned a goal of her own off the top right of the net.
In the 16th minute, a corner kick let Sammy Galardo get the quick tap into the net.
Webb City had a 4-nil lead heading into halftime.
Goalie Addie Brown had several looks, but was able to keep the Lady Eagles at bay.
The play of the night came in the 75th minute. Ruby Channel’s free kick bounced off the goalpost, soaring high into the sky. As it came down, Lily Hall connected with a header into the net.
Webb City won its last home game Thursday, May 8, 3-0 against Neosho.
The Cardinals finished the regular season at .500, with 8 wins and 8 losses.
