Thursday, July 31

18:26 – Officers responded to WCPD in reference to a walk-in report that originated at Walmart.

Friday, Aug. 1

20:57 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Fountain Road and Ellis Street. One male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

Saturday, Aug. 2

01:59 – An officer conducted a bicycle stop at Zora Street and Myrtle Road. One male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants, resisting arrest, possession of a drug paraphernalia, and possession of certain weapons.

09:03 – An officer conducting neighborhood patrol observed a male with felony warrants in the area of Aylor and Ball Streets. The male fled from officers and wasn’t able to be located. Citations were issued.

10:52 – An officer was dispatched to 504 W. Seventh St. for a theft.

12:41 – An officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of W. 14th St in reference to a missing juvenile. An investigation was completed, and the juvenile was located.

16:18 – An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Roane and Austin streets in reference to expired temporary registration. The 50-year-old female driver was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

Sunday, Aug. 3

00:34 – An officer made a traffic stop near MacArthur Drive and Main Street in reference to a traffic violation. One male was taken into custody for DWI.

13:30 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft that took place at about 5:20 p.m. on July 29.

13:40 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft that took place at 6:41 p.m. July 29. One 41-year-old female was issued a citation for shoplifting.

13:40 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft that took place at 3:17 p.m. on July 30.

15:22 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to theft of money at 410 S. Madison St.

18:23 – Officers responded to 105 S. Tom St. for a domestic in progress. One male was taken into custody for domestic assault.

23:36 – An officer conducted a stop on a suspicious vehicle at 1400 S. Madison St. One adult female was taken into custody for outstanding warrants and a report was created.

Monday, Aug. 4
Officers were dispatched to 610 S. Madison St. for a two-vehicle traffic crash. One driver was transported to a local hospital for unknown injuries.

10:00 – I took a report of internet fraud via computer access from 1403 Stadium Drive. The victim received a virus message on his computer and contacted what he believed was Best Buy Technical Support, however he inadvertently gave someone access to his computer remotely.

13:27 – I was dispatched to 724 W. Sixth St., for a past-tense theft from motor vehicle.

14:47 – Officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Jefferson St. regarding a missing juvenile who was later located and returned home with a neighbor.

16:01 – Officers responded to Walmart regarding an incident of shoplifting. A citation was issued to a 51-year-old female.

17:53 – Officers responded to the intersection of Madison and Seventh streets for a motor vehicle accident.

19:56 – Officers responded to 1400 S. Madison St. in reference to a male with a felony warrant. One 34-year-old male was taken into custody for a warrant and giving false info to officers.

Tuesday, Aug. 5

A detective took a walk-in report about a past-tense incident(s) of a reported harassment. The alleged incident(s) happened in the 300 block of N. Liberty St. over several days.

15:07 – Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at Madison and 12th streets.

20:13 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street for an equipment violation. One 56-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI-drugs.

21:56 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting past-tense.

22:33 – Officers were dispatched to 410 S. Madison St. for a domestic. A 30-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.

Wednesday, Aug. 6

09:08 – I received a call for service at 500 S. Madison St. in reference to a well-being check.

10:20 – An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Jefferson Circle in reference to a department assist with Health and Senior Services and the Mobile Crisis Team with the Ozark Center. One 40-year-old male was transported to an area hospital where he was placed on a 96-hour mental evaluation.

11:27 – Officers were dispatched to Pinnacle Bank, 1010 S. Madison St. in reference to a fraudulent check being passed. One 53-year-old male was arrested for forgery.

15:11 – Officers were dispatched to the area of MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street in reference to a two-vehicle crash with injuries.

Thursday, Aug. 7

00:50 – An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Powell Drive. The 32-year-old male fled from the traffic stop and wrecked his vehicle near Hatten Park, 354 N. College St. He was taken into custody. Charges for DWI and property damage were sent to the city prosecutor, while felony resisting charges were sent to the Jasper County prosecutor’s office.

09:55 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft. One female was arrested for shoplifting.

13:54 – I received a call for service at 1802 S. Oronogo St. in reference to a structure fire. It was determined a corner of a storage building had accidentally caught fire from a cigarette.

16:38 – I took a walk-in report of a theft that occurred at 1802-2E S. Oronogo St.

18:45 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress.

21:25 – An officer observed a subject traveling on a bicycle at Main Street and Broadway. The officer identified the subject as a 26-year-old male with an active probation/parole warrant for his arrest. The subject was taken into custody after a short pursuit.

Friday, Aug. 8

12:08 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a subject shoplifting at Walmart. One male was arrested.

14:24 – I arrived at 1525 S. Madison to check the well-being of an unresponsive man in a vehicle. A 51-year-old man was arrested for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and trafficking drugs.

15:28 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a report of trespass in progress. A 34-year-old male was issued a citation for trespass.

19:44 – I responded to 1543 Anderson Drive for a threats call.

22:25 – I made a traffic stop at 1525 S. Madison St. A male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

Saturday, Aug. 9

00:25 – I made a traffic stop at 604 S. Madison St. A female was taken into custody for a warrant.

01:55 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and Mt. Hope Road for a lane violation. A 48-year-old female was arrested fro DWI-drugs.

20:22 – An officer observed a moped commit several traffic violations at Range Line Road and Zora Street. A 33-year-old male was arrested for DWI and possession of a controlled substance.
