Frisco Church has grown since it was started in 1921 as the Gospel Mission Church

The Gospel Mission Church was established in 1921 in a rented hall on the north side of Daugherty Street. In the years between 1925 and 1938 the name was changed to Frisco Mission Church. (The Frisco depot was nearby.)

A new building was constructed at 908 W. Daugherty and was expanded upon as the congregation grew. The church continues to operate today as a non-denominational church and is now called Frisco Church.

Mark Lamb contributed this photo of a 1923 Frisco Mission revival meeting at the building on the north side of West Daughert Street in the 900 block. A new church was later constructed on the current site, 908 W. Daugherty St. (south side of the street).
