Athletic Hall of Fame inductees announced

The 2025 class of Webb City R-7 Athletic Hall of Fame being announced includes seven individual athletes, coach Jerry Kill, the 2005 baseball team and the football chain crew.

The induction ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in the Cardinal Dome commons.

This year’s inductees are:

  • Bill DeMoss – 1968
  • Blake Bard – 1998
  • Xin Lui – 1999
  • Katie Spieker Chapman – 2000
  • Nicole Greninger Moore – 2002
  • Chrissie Greninger Sargent – 2002
  • Callie Stanford Smothers – 2002
  • Coach Jerry Kill – 1989-90
  • 2005 Baseball Cardinals
  • Football Chain Crew – past and present

The Athletic Hall of Fame is a function of the school district and Webb City R-7 Schools Foundation. It was established in 2016 to commemorate a legacy of exceptional athletic performances and accomplishments, and to pay tribute to those indivfiduals and teams who have shaped the district’s athletic history.

Honorees are chosen by a selection committee comprised of current and retired administrators and coaches.
