Thursday, Oct. 16

08:36 – I arrived at Mid-Missouri Bank, 1421 S. Madison St. for a report of fraud. An investigation for stealing was initiated.

16:48 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a 57-year-old man arrested on a Jasper County warrant for non-support.

Saturday, Oct. 18

16:33 – An officer was dispatched to Atwoods for a report of shoplifting in progress.

Wednesday, Oct. 22

01:21 – Officers were conducting neighborhood enforcement at Fountain Road and Madison Street when they noticed a male pushing a Honda Grom with pedestrian violations. The suspect fled from officers and it turned out the Honda was stolen from a nearby neighborhood.

Saturday, Oct. 25

02:18 – A WCPD drug recognition expert officer was dispatched to the station to conduct an evaluation for Jasper County Sheriff Department.

11:40 – Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of N. Madison St. in reference to a suicidal subject.

Sunday, Oct. 26

02:00 – Officers responded to Washington and Third streets in reference to suspicious activity. A 42-year-old male was arrested for numerous active warrants, along with a new charge of possession of a controlled substance.

02:27 – I made a traffic stop near South Hall Street and Railroad Way in reference to an equipment violation. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

08:20 – Officers were dispatched to an address on Pennsylvania Street for a mental illness service call. Upon arrival, it was determined that a subject in the residence was suffering from mental illness and was placed on a 96-hour hold.

09:51 – Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at Country Side Drive and Wilson Crossing.

19:00 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

Monday, Oct. 27

05:02 – Officers were conducting traffic enforcement near 306 N. Main St. when they observed a male running in between houses avoiding law enforcement. A pedestrian stop was conducted and one male was taken into custody for Carthage warrants.

10:39 – An officer was provided a name and number in reference to a past-tense theft that took place at 817 Lexington Drive at about 1015 hours on Oct. 24.

17:38 – An officer was dispatched to 1504 S. Madison St. in reference to a burglary. Information was obtained and an investigation was initiated.

19:13 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Madison and 14th streets for a registration violation. As a result, one 33-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI and endangering the welfare of a child. One 41-year-old female was taken into custody for Oronogo warrants and open container.

Tuesday, Oct. 28

Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

14:57 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

16:03 – I was dispatched to Madison and 13th streets for a two-vehicle, injury motor vehicle accident.

23:27 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Church streets for expired plates. One 27-year-old female was arrested for outstanding warrants out of Joplin and Jasper County.

Wednesday, Oct. 29

10:08 – I was contacted WCPD in reference to internet fraud at 1606 Lakeview Drive.

10:09 – I was dispatched to 4490 Dirt Road for a report of harassment. The suspect is unknown.

11:36 – Officers were dispatched to Broadway and Oronogo Street in regard to a hit-and-run crash.

20:56 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement near MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street observed a white Chevy Silverado with equipment and lane violations. A traffic stop was conducted and one female was taken into custody for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Thursday, Oct. 30

11:31 – Officers responded to an overdose in the 800 block of W. Austin St. As a result, a 27-year-old female came to jail on Carl Junction warrants.

18:57 – Officers were dispatched to 17th and Madison streets regarding a motor vehicle accident, where one vehicle left the scene.

Friday, Oct. 31

13:21 – An officer was dispatched to 715 N. Elliott St. in reference to a license plate that was stolen at an unknown date or time.

14:27 – An officer was dispatched to 1030 N. Main St. in reference to theft.

21:35 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of MacArthur Drive and Oakland Street. A 31-year-old male was taken into custody for a warrant.

22:45 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of First and East streets for a stop light violation. One 40-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI-Alcohol.

Saturday, Nov. 1

01:14 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at East Street amd Sharon Drove for lane violations. A 41-year-old female was arrested for driving while impaired.

12:30 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft in progress. One 35-year-old female was taken into custody for shoplifting.

21:28 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Centennial Street for expired tags. A 43-year-old male was arrested for Valentine’s Law (aggravated fleeing).

22:28 – fficers were dispatched to Hall and Arch streets for a disturbance in progress. A 29-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
