The 16-6 Webb City girls are looking for their fourth straight win as they prepare to travel Thursday to Ozark. They have scored more than 65 points in their last three wins.
At home Thursday, they defeated Willard 66-45 but were behind 23-22 at the half. They dominated the third quarter 24-6 and outscored the visiting Tigers 20-16 in the fourth quarter.
Addie Burns led the Cardinals with 20 points, while Abby Sargent added 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
The Cardinals led 66-15 by the end of the third quarter Monday at Parkview and coasted to a 69-22 win. Top scorers for Webb City were Abby Sargent, 22; Whitlee Keith, 14, and Addie Burns, 13.
After Ozark, the Cardinals will have three games left in the regular season. They will be at Neosho on Monday, at home against Aurora Tuesday and at Joplin Thursday, Feb. 26.
Districts will begin the week of March 2 at Hillcrest.
