Webb City junior Louden Bolinger won second place and three other Cardinals made it to the podium Saturday during the MSHSAA State Wrestling Championships at Columbia.
In the Class 3 285-pound championship match, Bolinger lost 1-0 to Zyan Knollmeyer, of Helias Catholic.
Tyler Christensen (132) and Carson Rooks (150) both won sixth-place medals. Raiden Haggard (175) also wrestled at state but did not place.
Mackenzie Booth (235) won her first two matches in the Class 2 girls tournament but lost in the semifinal round and finished in sixth place.
Four other Webb City girls experienced the thrill of the state championships before being eliminated: Tatum Christensen (135), Sierra Devore (140), Kinley Sinclair (145), and Maddie Barchak (155).
