
Webb City junior Louden Bolinger won second place and three other Cardinals made it to the podium Saturday during the MSHSAA State Wrestling Championships at Columbia.
In the Class 3 285 championship match, Bolinger lost 1-0 to Zyan Knollmeyer, of Helias Catholic.
Tyler Christensen (132) and Carson Rooks (150) both took sixth place. Raiden Haggard (175) also wrestled at state but did not place.
Mackenzie Booth (235) won her first two matches in the Class 2 girls tournament but lost in the semifinal round and finished in sixth place.
Four other Webb City girls experienced the thrill of the state championships before being eliminated: Tatum Christensen (135), Sierra Devore (140), Kinley Sinclair (145), and Maddie Barchak (155).
