11:15 – I was dispatched to the station for a warrant arrest. A 37-year-old man turned himself in on an active Jasper County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
20:40 – Officers were dispatched to 809 W. Daugherty St. for a non-injury motor vehicle accident. One party left the scene.
Saturday, March 21
01:30 – An officer was dispatched to 1802-2C S. Oronogo St. in reference to past-tense property damage.
20:12 – An officer was dispatched to White Oak Station, 2587 N. Range Line Road, in reference to a disturbance in progress. One adult female was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant and a report was created.
Sunday, March 22
14:04 – An officer was dispatched to 1111 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a past-tense theft of medication that took place on March 21.
17:13 – Officers were dispatched to a physical domestic in the 400 block of W. 15th St. A male, age 56, was taken into custody.
Monday, March 23
06:32 – I received a call for service in the 900 block of W. 15th St. in reference to a runaway juvenile.
11:25 – I was dispatched to a possible runaway in the 400 block of N. Webb St. A female was taken into custody for warrants.
11:55 – I arrived at the station for a report of a vicious animal. The reporting person advised a neighborhood dog killed several chickens at 1827 Chickadee Drive.
13:30 – One of WCPD’s drug recognition expert officers were dispatched to 1200 E. First St. in Cartervilleto conduct an evaluation for Carterville Police Department.
15:45 – On 03-23-2026 at 1545 hours, I was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Jefferson St., where a parent had contacted the police department about a runaway. The juvenile was contacted and returned to her parents.
17:01 – Officers were dispatched to the post office in reference to theft.
18:53 – A report was taken for found property at Casey’s, 337 S. Main St.
23:05 – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle with a brake light out near Daugherty and Ash streets. A traffic stop was made, and a 26-year-old female was arrested for multiple warrants and giving false info to an officer. A 42-year-old male was also arrested later for hindering prosecution.
Wednesday, March 25
12:07 – An officer was dispatched to Zora Street and Range Line Road in reference to a two-vehicle crash with unknown injuries. One 63-year-old male was taken into custody for driving without a valid license.
12:50 – I was dispatched to 1999 S. Madison St. for a past-tense forgery.
20:27 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to harassment that was occurring at 402 E. First St. Information was gathered and an adult male was sent a citation for harassment and a report was created.
Thursday, March 26
01:12 – An officer contacted a male and female at Broadway and Main Street due to suspicious activity. A 35-year-old female was cited for no valid drivers license.
12:15 – I was dispatched to 422 N. Washington St. for a stalking/harassment that just occurred.
15:02 – An officer was dispatched to Daugherty and Roane streets in reference to a two-vehicle crash with no injuries.
15:36 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting. A juvenile was taken to the police department to be picked up by the parent.
Friday, March 27
03:12 – An officer took at report about harassment in the 200 block of S. Hall St.
04:22 – An officer observed a white-in-color Ford Escape driving east on MacArthur Drive with its high beams on. A 28-year-old male was arrested for DWI-drug intoxication, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and open container.
07:54 – I was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Ball St., for a well-being check. The subject was taken to Freeman Hospital on a 96-hour hold.
12:16 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a theft in progress. A report sent to the prosecutor’s office.
15:21 – Officers were call to a check the well-being of a driver at MacArthur Drive and Jefferson Street. The 33-year-old driver was arrested for DWI.
Saturday, March 28
09:59 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Range Line Road and Zora Street for expired tags and speed. A 40-year-old male was arrested for DWI-drugs.
13:23 – Officers were dispatched to 314 W. Third St. for a theft that had occurred. The case will be turned over to the detectives.
14:13 – An officer observed a vehicle stop in the middle of the road at Centennial and Tracy streets and stopped with it. A 35-year-old female was arrested for DWI-drugs.
16:35 – An officer observed a black motorcycle fail to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Oronogo and Sixth streets. The 40-year-old male driver was taken into custody for resisting arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer and failure to obey a lawful order.
22:05 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Main Street for an equipment violation. The 28-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for defective equipment, giving officer false information, driving while revoked and Webb City and Jasper County warrants.
