Evelyn Louise Ward, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 82.
Evelyn was born on May 2, 1943, to Ira White and Edith White. She spent her entire life in the Joplin and Webb City area, where she built deep roots and lifelong connections with family and friends. Evelyn devoted her life to the people she loved most. She had a deep love for her family and never missed a chance to show it. Whether through a warm meal, a kind word, or simply being present, she made everyone feel cared for and important.
She found joy in spending time at the races, trying her luck at the casino and relaxing at home while watching her favorite westerns day and night.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Clyde Ward Sr.; her parents, Ira and Edith White; three brothers; two sisters; and many other cherished family members and dear friends who welcomed her with open arms.
