Sweet Notes: a parting tribute to retiring director, Melinda Benham

Rock the Country was the theme of this year’s annual Sweet Notes concert Saturday at Webb City High School.

The event has become a major fundraiser for the Choir Boosters and a stage for the choral department’s talent.

In addition to 26 solos and duets, the large crowd was treated to performances by the Webb City Singers, Bella Voce and DoMENance show choirs.

The last song, “For Good,” had special meaning because it will be the last Sweet Notes concert directed by Melinda Benham. She is retiring.
