06:40 – I was dispatched to 1707 Redwood Drive for a vehicle lockout. The caller was arrested on an active Webb City traffic warrant.
12:32 – Officers responded to 717 Crockett Drive for a disturbance. The investigation showed a man was hanging onto the exterior of a moving vehicle during an argument and was injured when he fell.

18:10 – Officers responded to 740 Jillian Lane for a theft.
Sunday, May 17
00:07 – An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Main and Daugherty streets. The vehicle accelerated and failed to yield, finally stopping in the parking lot of the Wingfield Apartments on North Main Street. A 21-year-old male was taken into custody for an active Webb City PD warrant, resisting, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, and DWI-alcohol/drug combination.
01:04 – An officer was dispatched to 501 N. Liberty St. in reference to an assault.
07:01 – An officer observed a white Jeep Compass travelling at a high rate of speed southbound on north Main Street at Stadium Drive. The male driver, age 23, was taken into custody for driving while suspended.
08:57– I was dispatched to 145 S. Cedar Circle for a motor vehicle accident, leaving the scene. One car crashed into a parked vehicle, then fled the scene.
14:50 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a disturbance. One 24-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding Seneca warrant.
15:59 – An officer was dispatched to 717 N. Campbell St. in reference to an animal bite that took place earlier in the day at 1101 Aylor St.
18:53 – An officer was dispatched to 1932 Redbird Drive in reference to a theft that occurred at 306 N Main St.
20:41 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Range Line Road and Zora Street for a registration violation. The 33-year-old male driver was arrested on Joplin warrants.
23:00 – Officers were dispatched to 2317 S. Hall St. in reference to a trespass past-tense, 0ne adult male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

12:47 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to fraud and stealing at 130 N. Ball St.
16:19 – I responded to the 800 block of W. MacArthur Drive for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
Tuesday, May 19
12:27 – I received a call for service at the roundabout in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
15:59 – I received a call for service at Atwoods, 220 S. East St., in reference to a past-tense shoplifting.
18:21 – Officers were dispatched to Zora and Hall streets for a non-injury motor vehicle crash.
18:23 – A report was taken for the theft of a firearm from the 1700 block of Redwood Dr. and sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office for review.
19:03 – Officers were dispatched to 220 S. East St. for a shoplifting call. A citation was issued.
19:30 – Officers were dispatched to 805 Meadow Circle for a trespassing that had just occurred. Contact was made with the suspect at Oronogo and Austin streets. The male was taken into custody for assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest, and 12-hour safe keep.
Wednesday, May 20
13:18 – I stopped a silver Dodge Caravan for exceeding the speed limit at Oronogo Street and Fountain Road. The driver was arrested for driving while suspended.
13:22 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a report of a disturbance.
14:42 – I stopped a white Chevrolet Silverado for exceeding the speed limit. The driver was found to have a Webb City warrant and was arrested.
14:51 – I was dispatched to 21 W. Broadway for the report of a harassment that occurred at MacArthur Drive and East Street.
15:44 – An officer was dispatched to 1931 Redbird Drive in reference to a past-tense crash where both parties left the scene. The crash occurred at an unknown location on North Webb Street on May 20 at 14:50 hours.
15:55 – An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of W. Austin St. for a past-tense theft. A verbal statement was taken about the theft and the victim advised they didn’t wish to pursue charges.
16:03 – I was contacted by phone about a subject possibly in possession of child pornography. An investigation has been opened.
16:30 – \I stopped a black Ford Fusion for exceeding the speed limit at Prairie Flower Road and Kent Street. The driver was arrested for driving while suspended.
18:04 – An individual came to WCPD to report they were raped while at an apartment located in the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St. Information was obtained and charges were sent to the Jasper County Prosecutors Office on a 24-year-old male for sodomy 2nd degree.
19:08 – An officer was dispatched to 325 S. College St. in reference to fraud, Information was gathered and an item was seized.
Thursday, May 21
09:18 – Officers were dispatched to 1309 S. Madison St. in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle collison.
12:30 – An officer was dispatched to 216 N. Webb St. in reference to a theft from vehicle that took place on May 20.
15:53 – At the address of 2587 N. Range Line Road, White Oak Station, an officer was dispatched for a past-tense theft.
18:07 – An officer was dispatched to 104 S. Liberty St. in reference to property damage.
23:28 – An officer took a report of harassment that occurred at 1616 Brewster Lane.
Friday, May 22
12:16 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for two subjects who shoplifted. A 42-year-old female was taken into custody for shoplifting and a Joplin warrant, and a 34-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting.
13:43 – Officers were dispatched to 1020 W. Daugherty St. for an animal abuse allegation. A 35-year-old female and a 39-year-old male were cited for animal cruelty and a report was taken.
14:42 – I was contacted at Arvest Bank in reference to theft of money at 419 S. Ellis St.
16:22 – I received a call for service at East Street and Sharon Drive in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
16:35 – Officers were dispatched to 322 S. Liberty St. in reference to an assault. A 57-year-old male was taken into custody for assault and an outstanding Platte County warrant.
17:40 – A report was taken for an incident of shoplifting that occurred at Atwoods, 220 S. East St.
21:00 – Officers responded to 1460 S. Madison St. for a driver passed out at the wheel. A 27-year-old male was arrested for DWI.
Saturday, May 23
01:52 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Church streets for speed. A 21-year-old male was arrested for DWI-combo.
15:34 – Officers were dispatched to 702 S. Madison St. for a reported non-injury crash.
15:39 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout for a motor vehicle crash.
