Saturday, May 23
18:43 – On 05/23/2026 at 1843 hours, officers were dispatched to East Rd and Centennial Rd for a non injury vehicle crash. As a result, a report was completed.
Sunday, May 24
00:52 – Officers were dispatched to Pool Road and Center Lane for a possible intoxicated driver. One male was taken into custody for DWI-zero tolerance, minor in possession, and open container.
08:54 – Officers were dispatched to 1528 Prier Lane for a reported property damage.
09:46 – Officers were dispatched to 404 E. Tracy St. for a found item.
11:07 – I stopped the driver of a black Mustang near Madison and 16th streets for noise and speeding violations. A 20-year-old man was arrested for no valid driver license.
11:23 – I received a call for service at Walmart in reference to shoplifting in progress. A male was subsequently arrested.
23:51 – Officers observed a male subject who had warrants at the address of 2587 N. Range Line Road. Contact was made and a 35-year-old male was taken into custody for trafficking drugs in the first degree as well as two other warrants affiliated with other agencies.
Monday, May 25
00:20 – Officers were dispatched to of Fountain Road and Madison Street for a report of three motorcycles carelessly being operated. A traffic stop was initiated at Crestwood Drive and Fourth Street, where one male was taken into custody for warrants.
08:30 – An officer contacted an individual in reference to a license plate that was stolen from a vehicle parked at Liberty and Austin streets. The license plate was stolen between October 2025 and May 2026.
15:16 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to two females who had been caught shoplifting. Both were arrested for shoplifting.
19:15 – Officers were dispatched to Madison and Fifth streets in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
19:34 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at the roundabout for a traffic violation. A 48-year-old female was arrested for driving while revoked.
Tuesday, May 26
01:49 – Officers were dispatched to 1115 Nelson St. in reference to a disturbance in progress. Charges for assault in the fourth degree, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, and unlawful possession of a firearm were sent to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office for a 39-year-old male.
03:48 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD in reference to a suspicious person. One male was taken into custody for misuse of 911 or emergency communications.
09:18 – Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Jefferson St. for a found child. The caller reported they located a lost 3-year-old in the area. A hotline was made with the Missouri Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline.
13:45 – Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of W. Daugherty St. in reference to a runaway juvenile possibly staying at the address. The juvenile was located and turned over to family.
17:22 – Officers were dispatched to 1607 Jefferson Circle for a theft in progress. The caller reported someone was stealing her scooter. The investigation revealed the owner of the scooter was on scene to recover his stolen property. The scooter was seized until the owner could complete his stolen vehicle report with the Joplin Police Department.
20:23 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Range Line Road and Zora Street for speed. Two females were arrested for DWI and possession.
Wednesday, May 27
09:30 – I took a report of theft of a package from 1335 W. Fifth St. that occurred around noon on May 18.
10:38 – Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 13th and Madison streets for a non-injury crash.
12:35 – Officers were dispatched to 916 W. Broadway for a domestic in progress. A 21-year-old female was taken into custody for domestic assault, while another 21-year-old female was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant out of Webb City.
16:23 – Officers were dispatched to Robert J. Baker Parkway for a suspicious vehicle. A 48-year-old male and a 45-year-old female were taken into custody for tampering first degree, trafficking first degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.
18:26 – Officers were dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
Thursday, May 28
08:44 – I received a call for service in the 1600 block of Jefferson Circle in reference to a past-tense sexual assault.
14:31 – Two experienced detectives were dispatched to Main Street and Broadway St. in reference to a reported trespass. The suspect was located and taken into custody on a signed complaint. The alleged trespass took place in the 25 hundred block of N. Hall St. in Webb City.
21:36 – A report was taken for a theft that occurred at Aspire Senior Living, 2077 Stadium Drive.
Friday, May 29
00:29 – A traffic stop was initiated at the intersection of Daugherty and Madison streets. A 36-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and an active warrant with Joplin Police Department.
09:58 – An officer responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Seventh Street and Chesterfield Drive.
11:04 – Officers were dispatched to 16th Street and Washington Terrace in reference to a vehicle striking a utility pole and leaving the scene.
Saturday, May 30
02:05 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at East and Aylor streets for displaying plates of another. A 19-year-old male was arrested for DWI-drugs.
07:45 – An officer was dispatched to 618 S. Hall St. in reference to fraud that took place on May 1.
14:11 – Officers were dispatched to 522 S. Madison St. in reference to a burglary in progress. Charges for burglary and domestic assault will be forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutors Office on a 27-year-old male.
21:48 – An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Roane St. in reference to a possible child abuse. A 36-year-old female was issued citations for endangering the welfare of a child and obstructing police.
21:48 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Ninth streets for defective equipment. A 50-year-old male was arrested for DWI-drugs.
