No-excuse voting continues as an option to cast your Missouri primary election ballot ahead of time. The actual voting day is Tuesday, Aug. 4. The Jasper County Clerk’s offices in Carthage and Joplin will be open Saturday morning for no-excuse absentee voting. The deadline to vote in advance will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Wayne Hayes and Roger Koch were among those making their case for votes on Thursday during the Jasper County Republicans Candidate Forum in the Carthage Water and Electric Plant Community Room.

Below is the full list of candidates and statewide questions. Races with Democratic (blue) and Libertarian (green) candidates will continue until the Nov. 3 election. Otherwise, the race will be over for those with just Republican candidates.
Aug. 4 will be the last word on the amendments.
