The Carterville Volunteer Fire Department invites everyone to attend third annual Route 66 Block Party at 5 p.m. Saturday.
Registration for the car, truck and bike show will begin at 4 p.m. The cost is $15 or $30 for limited premium parking.
Vendors are welcome for a $10 fee for a 10-foot-by-10-foot area.
There will also be kids games, a 50/50 pot, and door prizes.

It was announced this week that the new Webb City CARES shirts are available to be purchased online.
You can choose short-sleeve or long-sleeve shirts in three designs and a variety of colors – gray, dark gray, red, blue and yellow.

A Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championship Qualifier event will be held Friday and Saturday at MOmentum Bike Park.
It is said to be the largest qualifier event in the nation.
Details about the event and registration are on the MOmentum website. It is organized by Joplin Parks & Rec, Joplin Sports Authority and Rufus Racing.
The entrance to MOmentum Bike Park is off Lone Elm Road, south of Zora Street.
