Four former Cardinal greats and two teams have been selected to be inducted into the 2026 Webb City R-7 Athletic Hall of Fame.
The annual induction ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Cardinal Dome commons.
The newest members of the Athletic Hall of Fame will be:
• Bob McAfee, 1972
• Chad Woodmansee, 1999
• Tyler White, 2002
• Marty Rodgers, 2006
• 2006 baseball team
• 2006 football team
The Athletic Hall of Fame is a function and fundraiser of the Webb City R-7 Schools Foundation in collaboration with the district.
Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online. Doors will open at 6 p.m., prior to dinner being served at 6:30.
Inductees are chosen by a selection committee composed of current and retired district and high school administrators and coaches. The Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 2016 to commemorate a legacy of exceptional athletic performances and accomplishments, and to pay tribute to those individuals and teams who have shaped the Webb City R-7 School District’s athletic history.
