Friday, May 21

20:19 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a theft of items.

Sunday, May 23

20:52 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a motor vehicle accident.

Monday, May 24

17:32 –  I took a walk-in report at WCPD for information on identity theft.

23:07 – I took custody of 39-year-old male at the Jasper County Jail (405 5th) and transported him back to the Webb City Jail and was booked in on warrants.

Friday, May 28
23:26 – An officer was dispatched to 2424 N. Main St, Wellspring Church, in reference to a suspicious vehicle. A 38-year-old female was taken into custody for a 12-hour safe keep.

19:27 – I was contacted at the police department for a past-tense debit/credt devise unlawful use at Casey’s, 337 S. Main St.

Saturday, May 29
00:20 – An officer conducted a warrant service at Casey’s, 337 S Main St. A 35-year-old male was arrested for active warrants out of Joplin PD and was cited for possession of marijuana.

18:46 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to an item found at 505 N. Tom. As a result a report was taken.

Sunday, May 30
01:56 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and Mount Hope Road in reference to a lane violation. the 30-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

09:11 – I received a call for service at 602 N. Hall St. in reference to a theft of medications.

13:34 – I was dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a past-tense theft from the store, which was captured by store cameras. The man stealing merchandise and leaving without paying was identified.

15:05 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a report of a cart push out from electronics. The two subjects were identified from store surveillance video. Because the subjects had been trespassing and because of the amount of merchandise stolen, first-degree burglary charges are being filed with the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office for a warrant.

16:00 – I received a call for service at Broadway and Daugherty Street in reference to a found bicycle. It was transported to the police department, where it will be held until the owner can be located.

18:34 – I was dispatched to 324 N. Tom St. #505 for a past-tense harassment.

20:17 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting.

19:15 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to found bicycles.

Monday, May 31

18:49 – I was dispatched to the area of Madison 10th streets for a vehicle involved in a theft from Joplin. The vehicle was later stopped at Walmart. One male was taken into custody for theft.

00:23 – I observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations at the roundabout and a traffic stop was initiated. A 29-year-old male was arrested for DWI and endangering the welfare of a child.

10:32 – I received a call for service at 306 S. Ball St. in reference to a subject with warrants for his arrest. The male was subsequently arrested for Webb City and Carterville municipal warrants.

20:18 – I was dispatched to 1169 1/2 Prairie Flower Road for a subject flourishing a weapon. It was later found not to be true. A man was taken into custody for false report.

07:18 – Officers were dispatched to OTTO Car Wash, 1727 S. Madison St., in reference to an indecent exposure incident. A 51-year-old male was taken into custody for sexual misconduct at this point as the investigation continues.

Tuesday, June 1

00:28 – Officers were dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. 11E for a trespass in progress.

11:18 – I took a report of a lost or stolen license plate off of a silver Toyota Camry from 1802 S. Oronogo St. Apt. 1B. The plate had gone missing sometime in the past week.

13:49 – I received a call for service at Church and Main in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

14:53 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a burglary at 925 S. Hall St.

15:00 – I took an information report from 702 S. College St. for an overseas scam.

I contacted a pedestrian on Oronogo Street near 10th Street in reference to a disturbance that occurred at Liberty and Fourth streets. The male was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

19:21 – I was dispatched to 610 S. Jefferson St. for a past-tense assault. The victim said her juvenile son hit her in the head and left the scene.

Wednesday, June 2

17:30 – Officers were dispatched to a call for peace disturbance. The caller wished to pursue charges a summons was issued to one female and a report was taken.

21:57 – I was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Walker St. for an assault which occurred at 1144 Oakway.

11:31 – An officer was dispatched to 1215 W. 14th St. in reference to a theft from a storage unit.

08:22 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. A 67-year-old female was issued a citation for failure to yield.

Officers were on a call at 1027 W. Daugherty St. when a male reported that the subject we were trying to contact there had just tried to break into his house at 1216 W. Austin St. After handling the initial call, officers took a report for trespassing at 1216 W. Austin St. and filed charges with the city prosecutor.

17:59 – Officers were dispatched to 1027 W. Daugherty St. for a domestic in progress. A male had charged at a female with a bat and was throwing objects at her car. Officers arrived and were unable to contact the male. A report was taken and charges filed with the city prosecutor.

Thursday, June 3

20:12 – Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash involving two-vehicles. There were no injuries and no leaking fluids.

10:21 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. A 34-year-old male was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.

20:10 – I was dispatched to Jefferson and 7th streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash. 

09:07 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Mount Hope for a lane violation. As a result a 39-year-old female was cited and arrested for lane violation, no seatbelt, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.

13:20 – I arrived at 4521 E. Zora St. Apt. C reference a report of property damage that had occurred on May 27. The front and back windows on the victim’s maroon 2007 Lincoln MKZ had been broken out by her ex-boyfriend.

17:00 – Officers were flagged down at Daugherty and Madison streets for a vehicle that had just been stolen. Officers checked the area and did not locate the vehicle. A suspect has been identified and the vehicle has been entered as stolen.

18:37 – Officers were dispatched to the railroad crossing at East and Aylor streets for a subject-down. Officers arrived and located an unconscious male laying near a junction box and the railroad tracks. The man was intoxicated and refused to identify himself. He was arrested for trespassing and failing to identify.

21:31 – Officers were dispatched for another complaint of juveniles operating UTV’s in the area of Country Side Drive and County Crossing. The UTV was located and the driver was found to be a repeat offender. Officers issued multiple citations and turned the UTV and juveniles over to their parents.

Friday, June 4

05:03 – Officers were dispatched to 419 N. Liberty St. in reference to a past-tense property damage report; the victim reported the windshield of an automobile had been busted out and destroyed. A neighborhood canvass was conducted to look for nearby security cameras.

05:59 – Officers responded to 4521 E. Zora Apt. D in reference to a disturbance. A 27-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault and active warrants.

07:42 – a report was created for property damage at Seventh and Zigler streets.

17:26 – I was contacted by a resident to report a theft. The caller reported a family member borrowed his car from 503 E. Aylor St. and failed to return it after numerous requests.

Officers took a report of a black dump trailer stolen from 1402 W. Stadium Drive. The trailer is reported to have been stolen in the past 30-60 days.

22:39 – Officers were dispatched to Tom and Arch streets in reference to a property damage report.

I received a phone call from an out-of-state woman who wanted to report a theft from 1752 Redwood. She reported sometime in February someone took tools from her parents’ apartment.

14:33 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. A 63-year-old male was issued a citation for failure to yield.

Saturday, June 5

10:11 – I received a call for service at WCPD in reference to a theft that occurred at 509 S. Ball St.

10:09 – An officer was dispatched to 1215 W. 14th St. in reference to property damage.

10:47 – I was dispatched to 4545 Pool Road in reference to money being stolen through a dating site.

12:51 – I was dispatched to 4521 E. Zora St. Apt. D for a possible ex-parte violation. The reporting party stated her ex-girlfriend was in the apartment and was served with an ex-parte last night. A 27-year-old female was arrested for ex-parte violation and resisting.

13:20 – I was dispatched to Atwoods in reference to theft of items from the store. A 25-year-old male was arrested for burglary in the first degree.

22:58 – Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash at Oronogo and 10th Streets involving a vehicle that collided with a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported at the time of incident.
