11:01 – I was dispatched to the Webb City Police Department lobby, 211 West Broadway, in reference to a report of a male finding a woman’s wallet in the 1200 block of W. Daugherty St. The wallet was placed into the property locker. A report was taken.
Tueday, May 18
18:01 – Officers were dispatched to 1342-A Canyon Trails Drive for a burglary past-tense. Some items were found to be missing from a home. An open window was located.
Tuesday, June 22
16:05 – I was dispatched to 29 S. Ball St. for a past-tense theft.
Wednesday, June 23
18:06 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense theft from motor vehicle that occurred at 511 N. Walker St.
Thursday, June 24
18:24 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense dog bite. Also, the victim had trespassed onto property at 29 S. Ball St., where the dog bite occurred.
18:58 – I was dispatched to 25 S. College St. for a past-tense theft.
20:08 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD to take a walk-in report of theft from 216 S. Ball St.
Friday, June 25
01:04 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Jefferson Street and MacArthur Drive. Drugs and paraphernalia were recovered on the stop out of the vehicle.
15:06 – I was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at Madison Street and MacArthur Drive.
Saturday, June 26
10:40 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a theft from a storage unit at 1038 N. Madison St.
22:37 – An officer was dispatched to call a citizen in reference to a past-tense domestic assault that had occurred on June 21 at 1605 S. Ellis St. Apt 279. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
Sunday, June 27
17:02 – Officers responded to 1601 S. Ellis St. Apt 309 in reference to a stolen license plate.
17:45 – Officers responded to 1224 S. Jefferson St. for a disturbance in progress. One subject was taken into custody.
18:16 – I was dispatched to 102 S. Hall St. for a past-tense property damage.
23:55 – I conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of N. East St. After identifying the operator. It was determined he had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Jasper County Jail to await bond.
Monday, June 28
10:20 – I took a report of a motor vehicle crash at Madison Street and MacArthur Drive. No injuries were reported and vehicles had only minor damage.
15:52 – Officers responded to WCPD for a report of sexual abuse. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of S. Jefferson St.
18:29 – I was contacted at the police department for a past-tense property damage.
18:48 – Officers responded to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a single-vehicle non-injury crash.
18:54 – I was dispatched to Prairie Flower Road and Fifth Street for a motor vehicle accident. A 33-year-old male was arrested for DWI, open container and child endangerment.
20:47 – Officers responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting. One subject was taken into custody.
Tuesday, June 29
05:50 – I was dispatched to 516 N. Devon St. reference a past-tense domestic assault. I arrived and contacted the suspect and victim. After an investigation was conducted, a male was taken into custody for domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The suspect was transported to our jail where the necessary booking process was completed and he awaited release on bond.
07:51 – I received a call for service at 110 E. Church St. in reference to property damage.
13:13 – I received a call for service at 1802-11A S. Oronogo St. in reference to a disturbance in progress.
22:11 – Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of W. 10th St. in reference to a death investigation.
18:07 – I was dispatched to 1734 Lakeview Drive for a past-tense theft.
20:47 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a trespassing in progress. A male was contacted and taken into custody for trespassing and various warrants.
16:08 – I was dispatched to 306 N. Main St. for a past-tense property damage.
16:33 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense shoplifting.
Wednesday, June 30
15:05 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. A 38-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and placed on a 24-hour hold while charges were sent to the Jasper County Prosecutors Officer for possession of a controlled substance and forgery.
Thursday, July 1
10:11 A female entered WCPD to report property damage and theft from Wasche, the laundromat at 615-B East Street (Worsche). Video was captured on tape and charges will be sought as soon as she is identified.
09:33 – An officer was dispatched to 1738 Redwood Drive Apt 164 in reference to a theft.
13:02 – An officer was dispatched to Oronogo Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash.
17:10 – I stopped a maroon vehicle for speeding on Oronogo Street near 10th Street. The driver charged with driving while suspended as well as speeding.
17:46 – I was notified of a past-tense fraud that occurred at multiple locations in Webb City. An investigation concluded and charges for fraudulent use of a credit device against one male juvenile were forwarded to the county juvenile office.
19:16 – I was dispatched to the roundabout in reference a single-vehicle non-injury accident. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, minor in possession, and open container.
Friday, July 2
11:07 – An individual came to WCPD to make a report about an incident that occurred in Springfield, Ore. Information was obtained and forwarded to the police department in Springfield, Ore.
15:05 – An officer was dispatched to 11 S. Tom St. in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash, which had occurred at Madison Street and MacArthur Drive.
21:22 – Officers were dispatched to 709 W. 4th in reference to an assault that had just occurred. As a result, an investigation and an incident report were completed, and the information was forwarded to the municipal prosecutor for further review.
Saturday, July 3
02:12 – Officers were dispatched to 1775 Boyer Place in reference to a disturbance. A 35-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
13:48 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to someone shoplifting. A 23-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia, and multiple warrants.
21:12 – Officers responded to 324 N. Tom St. in reference to a package theft.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
