05:42 – An officer was dispatched to 803 Meadow Circle in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.
Wednesday, July 7
17:47 – I was dispatched to the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St. for an indecent exposure incident.
Friday, July 9
17:15 – I was dispatched to the area of MacArthur Drive and Hall Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.
18:13 – I was dispatched to the area of Madison and Seventh streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.
15:43 – I was dispatched to the station for a theft. The victim reported someone entered his truck while parked in the 700 block of N. Tom St. and took several belongings.
Sunday, July 11
16:21 – An officer was dispatched to 624 N. Tom St. Apt 206 for a past-tense burglary. Upon arrival information was obtained and a incident report was taken.
Monday, July 12
Officers were dispatched to Memorial Park for a drug activity call. Some juveniles were reported to have drugs in the park.
00:45 – An officer was dispatched to 1231 Elm Court in reference to a 911 hang up. The call a domestic assault report was taken and forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.
10:19 – I received a call for service at Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a motor vehicle collision.
11:20 – I received a call for service in the 600 block of N. Tom St. in reference to a suicidal male with a knife cutting himself. The man was subsequently taken into protective custody and transported to local hospital.
12:00 – I took an information report at 37 S. Main St. reference threats.
15:35 – I took a report of property damage at 2573 N. Range Line that occurred at around 7 p.m. on July 11. A male suspect was located and charged with the damage.
15:40 – I received a call for service at 733 Jillian Drive in reference to a theft of property. A suspect was subsequently arrested for a warrant.
16:41 – I was dispatched to 54 S. Cedar St. for a theft from a residence.
20:51 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense theft from a motor vehicle at 825 N. Walker St.
Tuesday, July 13
15:31 – A man entered the WCPD lobby to report the break-in of his storage unit at 123 E. Broadway. A room was broken into and several Star Wars toys were taken. He also reported several windows and doors had been damaged as well.
21:48 – Officers responded to Casey’s, 1525 S. Madison St., in reference to shoplifting. Information was obtained.
23:45 – I was dispatched to 513 N. Tom St. for a motor vehicle theft.
Wednesday, July 14
15:19 – I observed a male subject I knew to have warrants for his arrest. The subject fled on foot before he could be contacted and left an item behind. The item was logged into property.
20:37 – I was dispatched to 1336 S. Hall St. in reference a past-tense theft.
13:26 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a juvenile shoplifter. Charges will be sent to the county juvenile office.
Thursday, July 15
08:57 – A male entered the WCPD lobby and said he had noticed that someone ran into his 2013 Chevrolet Camaro at Walmart. A video helped identify the other vehicle and driver. The other male driver was cited for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, failing to report said crash.
15:56 – I was notified of a possible fraud that occurred near 1506 Lakeview Drive.
17:51 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a report of rape near the 500 block of N. Hall St.
09:57 – An officer was dispatched to 116 S. Tom St. in reference to a burglary.
13:30 – I arrived at Daugherty and Webb streets reference a motor vehicle accident.
Friday, July 16
22:40 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main Street and Carl Junction Road for a speeding violation. A short pursuit occurred and all of the occupants fled from the vehicle.
07:32 – Officers observed a male subject with an active warrant at 901 N. Main St. The 34-year-old male was arrested for an active warrant from out of state.
00:07 – Officers located a vehicle at Kum and Go, 411 S. Madison St., which matched the description of a possible vehicle with several underage drinkers. Charges against four juveniles will be sent to the county juvenile office for minor in possession and open container.
11:04 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. One male, age 36, was arrested.
10:37 – An officer was dispatched to 1336 S. Hall St. in reference to a theft call. Charges for stealing and burglary against two men, ages 36 and 34, will be sent to the county prosecutor’s office.
13:49 – An officer was dispatched to Henkle’s Ace Hardware in reference to a stolen scooter.
14:22 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. A 32-year-male was cited and arrested for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license, trespassing, and shoplifting.
15:34 – Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of N. Webb St. in reference to a possible suicidal subject. A 40-year-old male was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for a 96-hour commit for a mental evaluation.
14:47 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart, where a 45-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and driving while revoked.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
