July 28, 2021

Friday, July 9

19:38 – I observed a 39-year-old male at 430 W. Seventh St. He was arrested for trespassing.

Monday, July 12

16:00 – I was dispatched to 1030 N. Main St. for a past-tense theft from a storage facility.

Tuesday, July 13

21:27 – I was dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. Apt. 2B for a past-tense domestic assault.

Wednesday, July 14

19:31 – I was dispatched to 814 W. 11th St. for a past-tense theft.

Friday, July 16

23:29 An officer was dispatched to call a citizen about a past-tense burglary that occurred at 912 N. East St.

Saturday, July 17

14:56 – Officers were notified by Walmart asset protection officers that a female had tried to make a fraudulent return of stolen property. One female was contacted and arrested on an outside agency warrant.

Sunday, July 18

14:24 – I received a call for service at 2587 N. Range Line in reference to a suspicious person. A white female was arrested for a warrant and transported to the Newton County jail.

11:00 – I took a report of a stolen 2017 dark blue Toyota Avalon with Missouri license plate JB4D2X from 1802 S. Oronogo St. Apt. 2B. The theft occurred sometime between 06:30 and 10:30 on July 18.

14:40 – I took a report of a stolen vehicle from 109 N. Cedar St. The cream/yellow colored 1993 GMC extended cab pickup was stolen sometime between 07-01-21 and 07-18-21.

Monday, July 19

07:20 – I responded to the 600 block of N. Pennsylvania St. reference a report of a male subject getting into various unlocked cars to steal items. The subject was located and arrested on multiple warrants.

04:42 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Stadium Dr. and Prospect St. A 36-year-old male was cited for driving while revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a control substance.

10:32 – I received a call for service at 531 N. Hall St. in reference to a past-tense theft of property.

12:21 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a found cell phone at Range Line Road and Ten Pin Lane.

22:09 – I was dispatched to 409 N. Webb St. for a domestic in progress. A male was taken into custody.

17:18 – Officers responded to RNR Tire Express, 2301 N. Range Line Road, in reference to threats to do harm.

19:03 – Officers responded to the area of Seventh Street and Chesterfield Drive in reference to an intoxicated driver. One subject was taken into custody.

20:37 – Officers responded to 409 N. Webb St. in reference to a physical disturbance. Information was obtained and two people were cited for a peace disturbance.

Tuesday, July 20

18:45 – Officers responded to 1611 N. Range Line in reference to shoplifting. One subject was taken into custody.

20:53 – Officers responded to 701-E S. Walker St. in reference to a theft.

20:52 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a report of rape which had occurred in the 700 block of Prospect St. An investigation was launched.

I took a report of theft of fuel from Murphy USA on two different occasions, 20:31 May 25 and 17:30 July 18. The suspect was identified by video and charged with theft.

13:47 – I received a call for service at 1658 Leighton Court in reference to a disturbance and assault.

17:34 – Officers made a traffic stop near Fourth and Ball streets in reference a license violation. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while revoked, open container, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

20:28 – I was dispatched to 701 W. Daugherty St. for a dog at large.

Wednesday, July 21

I took a report of property damage at the Orient Express shopping center. The female suspect had struck a vehicle on the parking lot and fled the scene. She was located and cited for property damage, leaving the scene of a crash, no proof of insurance and expired license plates.

11:30 – I took a report of a lost Missouri drivers license at Arvest Bank.

07:15 – An officer was dispatched to 3302 Kennedy Lane in reference to a theft.

14:09 – I received a call for service at 405 E. Fifth St. in reference to a subject there with a Webb City warrant for his arrest.

15:24 – An officer was dispatched to 211 S. Webb St. in reference to a theft.

16:03 – An individual contacted an officer to report a theft from 611 N. Walker St.

22:11 – I was dispatched to 734 Prospect St. in reference to harassment.

Friday, July 23

06:50 – I received a call for service in the 1000 block of E. Fountain Road in reference to a natural death.

08:13 – An officer was dispatched to 1131 W. Austin St. in reference to a theft.

13:39 – I stopped a black Chevrolet pickup at Daugherty and Ball streets for a traffic violation. A female was subsequently arrested for a Carthage City warrant.

22:33 – I made contact with a man on a bicycle near Main and Aylor streets. He was taken into custody for an outstanding felony burglary warrant.

Saturday, July 24

11:22 – An officer was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Zigler Street in reference to a one-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash.

15:31 – An officer was dispatched to Seventh and Jefferson streets in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. A 74-year-old female was issued a citation for failing to stop for posted stop sign.

11:56 – Officers responded to the 1100 block of Crow Street for a natural death.
