18:30 – I was dispatched to Atwoods for shoplifting. A 37-year-old female was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and shoplifting.
Tuesday, Oct. 5
10:50 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a theft of license plates from a motor vehicle.
07:48 – Officers were dispatched to 707 W. Broadway for a past-tense burglary.
Wednesday, Oct. 6
I received a report of an assault involving two juvenile males that occurred on Aug. 30 the 600 block of N. Madison St.
22:21 – An officer was dispatched to Discount Smokes and Liquor, 306 N. Main St., in reference to a past-tense assault. A 43-year-old male was issued a citation for assault.
Thursday, Oct. 7
13:01 – I was dispatched to Murphy USA where citations were issued to a 26-year-old male for theft of motor fuel.
Friday, Oct. 8
Officers were dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Rose Street for a two-vehicle accident.
Sunday, Oct. 10
I was contacted by the victim of a theft who reported someone had stolen a firearm and a cell phone from his vehicle while it was parked at Second and Main streets sometime around 00:30 hours.
02:38 – An officer conducted a traffic stop for improper lane use at the roundabout. The 23-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for possession of marijuana.
12:36 – I conducted a traffic stop on MacArthur Drive near Madison St. The driver was cited for driving while revoked.
17:17 – I was dispatched to 823 W. Second St. for a domestic assault. A male was cited.
Monday, Oct. 11
14:52 – I was dispatched to Madison and 13th streets for a motor vehicle crash.
02:51 – Officers responded 405 W. 15th St. in reference to a domestic disturbance. One subject was taken into custody and a second was cited.
16:54 – I received a call for service in the 10 block of S. Liberty St. in reference to a runaway juvenile.
18:57 – An officer was dispatched to 313 S. Hall St. in reference to a past-tense assault report.
20:35 – I was dispatched to a past-tense theft that occurred at 1715 S. Madison St.
Tuesday, Oct. 12
08:39 – I received a call for service at Pizza Hut in reference to a burglary.
12:17 – I received a call for service at 1711 Redwood in reference to a disturbance in progress.
13:05 – I arrived in the 600 block of N. Madison St. in reference to a female juvenile in possession of marijuana/THC in a vape device. The juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana, and charges were sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.
14:40 – I took a report of stealing from 112 N. Main St. The theft involved the on-line purchase of a dog which turned out to be a scam.
18:31 – An officer was dispatched to 905 N. Devon St. in reference to an animal-at-large complaint.
09:35 – A female entered WCPD to report her credit cards had been stolen at Cramers Meat, 1032 South range Line Road, and had been used at a Casey’s General Store and the Webb City Walmart.
17:12 – I was dispatched to Madison and Sixth streets for a motor vehicle accident.
Wednesday, Oct. 13
06:24 – I was dispatched to 1610 W. Broadway for a past-tense theft from motor vehicles.
21:11 – Officers responded to McDonald’s in reference to a disturbance. A 24-year-old was arrested for resisting during the investigation.
15:53 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense theft that occurred at 309 S. Tom St.
16:11 – I arrived at 1801 N. Range Line to contact a non-compliant sex offender for interview. A 53-year-old man was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender.
On 10/13/2021 at 1057 hours, I was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Rudondo Dr. for found items in a teenager’s room. A parent believed the items were narcotics. I took custody of the items, later putting them into evidence.
Thursday, Oct. 14
01:48 – Officers were dispatched to 1525 S. Madison St. in reference to property damage.
19:16 – Officers responded to 917 W. Third St. in reference to a fraudulent use of a credit device. Information was obtained and a report was taken.
Friday, Oct. 15
01:03 – Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Walker St. Apt. A in reference to a juvenile offense.
07:54 – I received a call for service at the Webb City Junior High School in reference to a juvenile incident.
09:49 – I was dispatched to Pennington Upholstery and Auto Customs in reference to someone breaching the business credit card twice and removing over $800.
21:39 – I was dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury accident near the 3400 Block of E. Zora St.
Saturday, Oct. 16
06:59 – I received a call for service at 203 E. Daugherty St. in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
10:14 – I was dispatched to 2515 N. Range Line Road, Blue water Pool and Spa, in reference to one of the company trucks being damaged.
10:44 – I received a call for service at 217 S. Tom St. in reference to attempted theft from a motor vehicle.
21:07 – I contacted a pedestrian near Galena and Tom streets in reference a warrant arrest. One adult male was taken into custody for several outstanding warrants.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
