Webb City football resumes this Friday at home, after the Cardinals had a bye last week in the first round of the Class 5 District 6 playoffs.

The Cardinals, second seeded behind Carthage, are set to host the third seeded Republic Tigers since they knocked off winless Parkview 54-0 last week.

Webb City (6-3) defeated Republic (6-4) 56-20 in the third week of the season.

Meanwhile, Carthage (9-0) will host the Willard Tigers, who won their first game last week against Neosho (1-9) 56-35.

The district championship will be settled Friday, Nov. 12.
