After two years operating out of a garage, NetWatch is settled into its new building

There’s a building that’s gone up on the Webb City side of the border between Webb City and Carterville that you might be wondering about.

It’s NetWatch, a company that provides companies with surveillance protection and internet technology services.

The Webb City Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony there Tuesday morning.

NetWatch began 20 years ago in Nixa and still has its home office there. It has been operating in this area for six years (out of an employee’s garage in Oronogo before the building was constructed).

The company’s expertise is in helping companies in this three-state region explore, design and install what systems they need for better security.

In 2022, the Webb City R-7 School District hired NetWatch to install sensors on exterior doors at every campus.

And the Webb City Fire Department recently chose NetWatch to limit access at the station.
