Aiming to end the school year on an active note

Selly Gannaway demonstrates how to play a game.

The annual Webster Primary Center Field Day, held Monday, will be the last under the guidance under Michelle “Shelly” Gannaway. She’s announced that she will retire after the fall semester, when she’ll be completing 24 years as Webster’s health and physical education teacher.

Field day is a big event that requires older students and community volunteers to run the many innovative events.

Gannaway created this hockey game a night before field day.
