Golf coach Jackson Boyer reports that Avry Hodson represented Webb City at the Class 3 state tournament Monday and Tuesday at Crown Pointe Golf Club in Farmington.
Avry placed 82nd, shooting a 98 the first day and 101 the second.
Emree Dawn Cameron, of Nevada, is the state champ after shooting 67 both days.
According to Boyer, Avry finished in 16th place at the Class 3 District 3 tournament in Marshfield. She is the sixth female golfer to qualify for the state tournament in Webb City’s 10-year history of ladies golf.

After lopsided opening games on Tuesday in the Class 4 District 6 tournament at Branson, second-seeded Webb City got past the host Pirates 3-2 Wednesday night and now face top-seeded Carl Junction in the final.
Webb City was a match away from elimination when the Cardinals came roaring back to win the fourth set 25-12. Then they finished off the Pirates 15-9. Set scores were (Webb City first) 23-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-12, 15-9.
The 22-6 Cardinals will play Carl Junction (25-8-2) at 1 p.m. Saturday. THE LOCATION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO McDONALD COUNTY.
Carl Junction defeated fourth-seeded Springfield Catholic in the semifinals.
Webb City defeated Parkview 3-0 in the opening round on Tuesday.
