Band camp finale

Webb City band members and their boosters wound up two weeks of band camp Friday night with a preview of this year’s show, “Lost in the Echoes.”

Butch Owens directed the band through the first movements – several times – along with the songs you hear at the game, including the alma mater. He thanked his staff, volunteers and the Webb City Band Boosters for making band camp a success. 

The next chance to see the show will be during halftime of the first home football game, Friday, Aug. 29, against Lebanon.

Taking the fields this week were the athletic teams during their first week of practice. The football season kicks off next week with the jamboree on Friday, Aug. 22.
