Webb City softball is on the road for awhile after the Cardinals’ extra-inning home loss Tuesday against Neosho.
The Cardinals took a 5-2 lead in the third inning, but the Wildcats scored two runs in both the sixth and seventh innings to take a 6-5 lead. Webb City tied it in the bottom of the seventh. But Neosho had a big 5-run eighth inning to win 11-6.
The 9-9 Cardinals will be at Republic Thursday, at Warrensburg in the University of Central Missouri tournament Friday and Saturday, at Lebanon Monday and at Ozark Tuesday. They’ll be home again Thursday, Sept. 29, against Branson.
